Great location, big dockboxes, grill!

Very friendly staff and quick response times. Be very careful if you get a mooring ball to check the tackle from contacting your hull. Some of their balls have hardware that isn't concealed within the plastic ball and with so much current you will make contact with the ball (and metal hardware if it's not well protected!)

Amenities are so-so, our dock neighbors are fabulous, sunrise are beautiful matched only by the sunsets and so we stay. However, with this year’s opening the facilities are in terrible condition: junk wood piled up in the parking area, deck boards broken and screws up creating trip hazards, toilets non functional (and not marked out of order), dock carts in short supply, two carts for an entire marina of sixty slips (only one with inflated tires, and a second with flat tires), nails in parking lot, docks with loose or broken boards and literally have parts falling off of them, no ice, no dock hands, no store. But we do have a freshly renovated storage shed.

We had a great time here! It's an easy walk into town, lots of restaurants and shops. The marina itself was very clean, docks were in great shape. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful.

Thank you to Billy and all of the staff there. They were extremely friendly and helpful to us. The Merrimack River current is very strong but they made sure we got in safely. The dock and facilities are also excellent.

Good docking facilities, helpful staff and easy walk into center of Newburyport.

Newburyport is always a great stop and Billy Nolan and his dock crew make us feel like family. I can’t give him enough praises for all he does for us each time we visit.

This is a great marina conveniently located in a great town. The staff is very professional and made our entire group of 8 boats happy and welcomed. The current is swift on the ebb tide but the staff were on the docks to catch lines and assist. Once ashore there are plenty of places to eat, drink, and shop. So many other things to do. Great port as a destination or as a stop on a longer passage.

The staff at this marina were super nice. My negative experience at this marina was really no fault of the marina. Out boat was run into and a boat pulled up directly next to mine after midnight and proceeded to party with loud music until 4am. The current runs extremely fast through this marina. I feel like if I had gone up the river further the current wouldn't have been so bad. It's important when possible to enter/exit this area during slack tide for your boats safety and others.

We enjoyed our stay. The marina is well maintained and staffed with professional and helpful employees. Newburyport is a delightful town. We cannot wait to return.

Well run marina. Dock hands that really know what they are doing when helping you into your slip. This is critical as the current can be very strong. The Manager (Bill) offered me his vehicle to run to a store that was not within walking distance. Provided plenty of local information on places to eat, etc. The town itself is beautiful and full of shops and restaurants and lovely open spaces, bench seating, etc. Wish we had planned to stay more than a day. We will be back!
