Wild Wings Campground & Marina is located by Lake Erie in Ottawa County, Ohio. With roughly 80 acres of marina, and 60 acres of campground along the north coast, this second generation, family-owned get-away has been in business since 1987. We are on a cross-country trip. This is an absolute example of false advertising. My wife was making advance registration. It looked on the internet like a neat place. This place is an absolute dumpsters. It's more like a low class mobile park or 98% seasonal park. We were given a site near overflowing dumpsters. The neighbors to our site were trash. This was parking in the middle of a gravel pit. If you are looking for a place to stop for a few days. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!
This place is a dump! We had no idea our site was a gravel lot right across from from 5 over flowing dumpsters. It’s our anniversary week and we tried to leave early out of here but they wouldn’t refund any of the money. Also we barely had enough length to hook up to our electricity and we have to pull our camper forward to use the dumping hook up we paid extra for which kind of defeats the point. I will never come back I cannot believe how ugly our site is. Our picnic table is also leaning over so bad you cannot use it. Unbelievably disappointed!!!
April, the power hungry minimum wage low level crony was just about the rudest person I have ever come across in all my travels. After talking to the owner about this it was clear that guest don’t matter it is only about how much money they can get out of whom ever they can and it’s ok for guest to be treated extremely disrespectfully. Will never come back here and I urge others to avoid this place
Wild Wings has great access to fishing, and has nice floating docks. They have great customer service, the folks in the office are very friendly. I highly recommend!
Owner is stubborn. Wife works there and won't give us a deal on a dock. Pretty sad isn't it. No discount at all!!!
