Water Street Hotel & Marina

Within easy walking distance to downtown Appalachicola. Docks are right under the hotel rooms and have access to a bathroom and shower (there’s only one for boat guests). Slips are on floating docks and are mostly for smaller boats (under 40) but a couple that can creatively accommodate larger boats. No dock hands to help tie up. Very friendly staff, but have to give all your information over the phone, which was hard to do when on our boat, and then had to write it all down again on paper once we checked in. Have a good BoatUS discount, but had to track down our membership number, whereas would’ve been easier to provide all ahead of time. Beautiful views and fun to watch the shrimping boats come in and out. Awesome town.
