Parrot Cove Marina is a fenced and gated deep water marina that can accommodate boats up to 65’ long and catamarans up to 30’ wide. The marina is in a great location close to and with fast easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, Tampa Bay, Sarasota Bay and the intra-coastal waterway.

Parrot Cove Marina is a small peaceful “old Florida” style marina. All of our boat slips have water, waste pump out and electrical hookups with meters as well as WiFi. Located in a well protected location on calm tranquil Palma Sola Bay where we don’t get any big wave action, resulting in less wear and tear on your boat and less rocking and rolling when you are on you boat.

Approach

Enter Palma Sola Bay at markers # 1 & 2 close to marker # 50 on the intracoastal waterway, which is North of the Cortez bridge. Proceed East about a half mile to the junction of 3 channels, use the most Southerly channel of the 3 ( the one on the right ) which is identified by signs for "San Remo" & "PARROT COVE". Enter the channel between the pilings with the green & red "PARROT COVE" signs on them and then proceed East about 200 yards to the entrance to our marina channel. Our marina channel entry will be on your right and is marked by 2 brightly painted green pilings that have 1 green and 1 red carved wooden fish on them with PARROT & COVE painted on the fish. For boats with a deep draft the West side of our entry channel is 6' deep at low tide, the East side of the channel is not as deep.

Parrot Cove Marina - Robert W.Jul 11, 2020

We put our future boat under contract while it was docked at Parrot Cove, and when we asked about continuing the dock lease as liveaboards the response was "Do you have a dog?" and "No dogs allowed". This ended that conversation.
