newportboater is incorrect. There are only 5 guest slips for rent. The other slips are occupied by first responders, both state and city lifeguards. Also, no need to worry about the Harbor Patrol not renting the slips. It appears Newportboater must have had a bad experience renting a slip. I have personally rented these slips many time over the years without any issues.

These are the most affordable guest slips in Newport Harbor. Only $40 per night. Unfortunately, the OC Sheriff's Harbor Patrol does not promote public use and was discouraging public use with "keep out" signs. These guest docks are for public use. Slip #5 through #9 are for public use. Pull into any available slip and check in at office. Correct address is 1901 Bayside Drive. Email me at [email protected] if the Sheriffs try to discourage use of these public slips. The Coastal Commission is monitoring the situation.
