Bob, Keith, Barbara and the boys will always assist you, Great value for your money. Would highly recommend if you are able to get a slip in the marina. Its been another great season.
Blue Lagoon is a wonderful small family marina. Its not a big fancy marina but it offers all the necessities. The owners and their sons are always willing to lend a hand. When my boat needed fixed they did excellent work at a fair price. Barbara and Keith are always willing to work with you. I'll be back next year for sure.
We've docked our boat at the marina for many years and have nothing but favorable things to say about the marina and the owners. They have gone out of their way to help us on multiple occasions and have always been professional and very knowledgeable. We have no intentions of ever leaving our slip. Great family owned and run marina.
At the beginning of July I went and down to check the marina out and ended up deciding I wanted a slip there. I paid half that day, then the other half 7 days later. She had originally told me I would be able to get my boat in within the following week so I said okay and went on with my day. 7 days later I got that venmo request for the other half of the money, I immidiately paid it and started beginning to ask Barbara when I could get the boat in. Day after day, I would call her asking when I could get it in. One day I went down to the marina to do some crabbing and met one of the mechanics who told me someone elses boat was going where I had paid to put mine. I called Barbara the next business day and asked her what was going on. She told me she moved my slip into the cove and that she would send me a picture of the slip so I knew where to park my boat. Then again, day after day after day I asked where my slip was and when I could get the boat in. About a week passed and I decided I was going to get my money back, so I sent a text and I was told that she could not venmo me the money back because she had maxed out her venmo account from buying a motor earlier in the week, and that she could send it to me the following week. So I waited until the following week and sent her a text asking for it. This is where the excuses began, day after day it was something else, whether she had somewhere to be, was sick, or I would get a text 30 minutes before I was going to drive to the marina to get my money saying that she couldn't that day. Finally, at last, when I told her I was about to take legal action, she told me she was going to write me a check and leave it in the mailbox to the marina. I went down and deposited said check and thought it had cleared with my bank 2 days later, so I forgot about it and went on with my life, I was not going to write any bad reviews or get law enforcement involved but now I have no choice because I recieve a letter in the mail saying that the check bounced due to insufficient funds in her account and she has blocked me on venmo. Do not do business with this marina, its a scam.
Blue Lagoon Marina is a wonderful family owned marina. Bob, the owner, has a well run and well maintained marina. The people who work there are friendly and knowledgeable. It is a pleasure having my boat docked there.
