Located in the heart of New Orlean's historic West End (yep the one in that famous Louis Armstrong recording), the center of the New Orleans sailing community, Orleans Marina is the most protected marina on the south shore of Lake Ponchartrain.
Orleans Marina is within easy walking distance to several casual and fine dining restaurants, a large grocery store, urgent care center, Walgreens drug store, French bakery and many other amenities. Fuel docks, boatyards and chandleries are directly adjacent to the Marina. The 175 year old Southern Yacht Club, the second oldest yacht club in America, the New Orleans Yacht Club, and community sailing organizations are also nearby.
Orleans Marina offers a comfort controlled boater amenity building, including restrooms, showers and laundry, covered piers and a friendly welcoming staff.

not many options in this area. Safe marina but has maintenance issues. Security staff are not familiar with marine issues. maintenance is slow.
Marina staff great. Marina is quiet with great neighbors.
I would like to thank the staff at the Orleans marina for helping me with my paperwork for my new lease, I give them 100% for well done. The marina has been taking care of me and all of my friends, it seems to be getting better. I see an improvement.
