Orleans Marina is by far the most protected marina in New Orleans or anywhere on the south shore of Lake Ponchartrain. Located in the heart of New Orlean’s historic West End (yep, the one Louis Armstrong made famous) in the center of the New Orleans sailing community, Orleans Marina is a small easily managed marina with 6 short, covered main piers (crucial in our hot summer sun) and parking steps away from your boat.
Our marina offers complimentary high-speed fiber-optic AT&T Wi-Fi service on each pier, a comfort-controlled boater amenity building, including restrooms, showers and laundry, pet relief area and friendly welcoming staff. Among the amenities coming soon: a shaded boater relaxation area with BBQ grills, picnic tables, games and more.
Orleans Marina is across the street from several casual and fine dining restaurants and within easy walking distance to a large grocery store, urgent care center, Walgreens drug store, fitness center, bakery and many other amenities. Fuel docks, boatyards and Chandleries are directly adjacent to the Marina. The 175-year-old Southern Yacht Club, the second oldest yacht club in America, the New Orleans Yacht Club, and the Community Sailing Center New Orleans are also nearby.
