Great Staff, clean restrooms

At the time of this review, I have been in the marina for about a year. I have had various boats in six different marinas and Chinook Landing Marina is my favorite by far! The docks are clean and well maintained, staff are friendly, and there is 24/7 supervision, and I feel 100% safe having my wife and kids roam around alone. Chinook is the marina to be in if you are in the Tacoma area!

We have had moorage here for 25+ years. Good folks, good rates, the restrooms and showers are new, Highly recommend this Marina. William is a great manager, his crew is always ready to help. They keep the floats clean and safe with 24 hour protection.

We have been docked at chinook landing for 2 weeks now and we have been receiving nothing but harassment from an employee named William. He has not only insulted us but has been extremely unprofessional and classist about us being here, he has made unfriendly comments about my van (fully functional) implying we are homless and generally being inhospitable and unwelcoming. The end of this month we are leaving and will not be returning to this marina nor would we suggest any one stay here the abuse is not worth it!

This is a very nice reasonable well protected marina. The staff has always been great to work with and the moorage rates are some of the best in the south sound (no sales tax because this is Indian land). The convenience store has snacks, sweatshirts and a latte/expresso stand. The showers are no charge and the parking area fenced and patrolled as well as the card key access to the docks themselves. We plan on being here for at least a year so we will soon see what our slip neighbors are like.
