You can contact the Marina Manager directly from mid-April until mid-October.
Stayed at the marina for just a weekend. This was the first time there and did not know the area. We were sent to the North wall with no guidance from the kids at the fuel dock. Once we found our spot, there were dockhands to throw lines to but they wouldn’t help tie up and they were gone before I could even tip or thank them. We were given zero information. We had to call and ask where the bathhouse was. And then we had to call and ask about wifi, that never worked. The dock we were staying at is insecure and open to the public to walk by which is unsettling with our young children. The electric hook ups were perfect, but water was far away we had to use two hoses. The bath house itself is far from the dock. You have to walk thru a subdivision to get to it and the showers are behind the city public bathroom, again leaving my children in an unsafe environment. Inside the shower was gross, dirty and by far the worst we’ve used at any marina we’ve stayed at! There were spider webs with bugs everywhere and so much nasty hair in the drains that was never cleaned. I felt dirty leaving the shower. Lastly it was the most expensive stay I have ever had. We travel to many different places and never had to pay as much as we did. Most expensive and worst experience. I will not return.
Visited 13 and 14 July 2022; rating 3.5 stars. Watersports of all kinds are active at the Grand Bend Harbor which is noted for its large sandy beach. The marina hosts transients on the North Wall which is upstream on the Ausable River. Single phase 30-amp service is available, but water hooks are spaced at longer intervals. The North Wall dock is about 5 feet above water level and wood protects boats from the steel posts. Mooring to these steel posts is likely since cleats are infrequent. The lakeside 24-step-stairway lead to the restroom/shower facility that is functional; a landside stairway is convenient if exploring near the Colonial Inn. A short distance from the restroom/shower facility is Main Street with eateries and shops. WFI is available although I was not able to connect to the signal. The dock is not secure but only fisherman and fellow boaters seem to walk the dock. The village of Grand Bend is a pleasant and busy beach town. We patronized and found the Paddington Pub for dinner and Highway Girl for morning coffee and bagel bombs to be enjoyable.
