This family-oriented boat club has been active in salt-water recreation since its inception in 1887. Unlike many of the yacht clubs nearby, there is no restaurant, no bar, no pool, but it is a great spot for members and guests to enjoy the beauty of the Housatonic River.
HBC is a very well organized boat club. Established in 1887. It has very rich history. Recently there has been a reorganized of personnel that oversees the duties of the club. The club has regained its stature as a high class, family orientated boat club. I’ve been a member since 1984 and last year it was the best that I have experienced. Paul
