One star because 0 isn’t an option. Spent nearly a $1000 for a filthy boat with trash left from a previous rental. Rented a tube and skis. We had fun on the tube, but no ski rope which rendered the skis useless. We could not get the stereo to work either. We called and spoke to the secretary who said Adam would return our calls. So we went back to tubing. We never received a call. We called again at 5 but no one answered. It was after store hours. When I voiced our problems with the secretary in the office, she took no responsibility, instead placed the blame on us. She said we can’t do anything, you should have informed us before. We tried, but it’s hard to if they won’t return your call. They did reimburse the ski rental fees. However, a big reason we rented the boat was to ski. It would have been nice to be able to use the stereo, use all the storage compartments to free up deck space, but instead of storing our belongings in filthy compartments full of trash, we had little room on deck. The Lake of the Ozarks is beautiful with so much to offer. My favorite lake now. We will return to enjoy it. However, if we rent a boat again, we will not be returning to Ozark Yacht Club. If you are looking for an unprofessional company who seems to disregard customer satisfaction in every regard and who provides unsanitary equipment, or who can’t provide all of the equipment you pay for, then Ozark Yacht Club would be ideal for your low expectations of a rental service. Hopefully, who ever is in charge will make changes to ensure customer satisfaction is a priority!!! Terrible service and equipment.
