Green Turtle Bay Marina has earned a "Must Stop!" designation by the AGLCA "Great Loopers" and is known to cruisers from the Great Lakes to the Florida waters. Green Turtle Bay has been awarded the industry coveted Five Anchor designation from Quimby's Cruising Guide.
Our full service marina features over 450 slips for most any boat style or size from 28' to 100' uncovered slips both power and sail and from 22' to 100' covered slips for cruisers and houseboats. The Marina's transient dock offers slips convenient to all amenities. We dispense ethanol-free gasoline and marine diesel, both of which are treated with Valvtect Marine additives.
Staff and facilities are top notch. The on site restaurant is great food with great staff in a great environment. The Owner of the resort stayed after hours and guided us in by flashlight since it was dark. Not sure he had that on his plan for a Saturday evening!
Great facilities and helpful staff
Friendly people, great docks, beautiful surroundings.
The marina was fine, but the boat works employees could not have been more rude. I had set up an appointment to have my mast stepped on Friday. When I got there they told me it wouldn't happen till Tuesday. After explaining that I was a looper the man I was talking to told me how much he hated loopers, explained that we are all broke and he let me know that we are all terrible at boat maintenance. I would not come back here.
We first came here 5 years ago when we did the Great Loop. The place and people are just as good and friendly as we remember
Love GTB, all the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Great marina!
Everything one could ask for motoring down the river system. Once past the Kentucky Dam lock it was like we had entered a New World and Green Turtle Resort was the entry point.
The staff were very nice and the location of the marina was ideal.
