Nantucket lies 26 miles south of Cape Cod. Approaching Nantucket from the west, in Nantucket Sound, you will pass along the Cross Rip Channel - between Cross Rip Shoal and Horseshoe Shoal. It is suggested that you stay within the channel markers. You will pass Tuckernuck Shoal to your starboard as you approach the entrance to Nantucket Harbor, which is marked by the red and white "NB" buoy. Proceed down the channel, rounding Brant Point Lighthouse to starboard. Nantucket Boat Basin is located on the western side of the harbor.

All Paws on Deck
There is no one aboard more excited to reach land than your furry friends. This year upon arrival and after a pit stop at the doggy park, please stop by our office for a treat and Boat Basin gift for your four-legged crew members. Additionally, show us a photo of your furry sailor at sea and we'll enter you for a chance to win a complimentary two night stay during 2012. On Labor Day we'll select the photo of the most seaworthy-looking feline or canine crew member.
We encourage you to book early. If you are a new guest, then please feel free to call us so that we can add you to our mailing list. You will find a full range of guest services at the Boat Basin.
If at any time we can be of assistance during your stay, please feel free to contact us at the Concierge or Dockmaster offices.
