Clean facilities, nice private showers, and responsive staff. We will definitely be back.
We spent the whole week of Carnival 2023 with Provincetown Marina. I can't say enough good things. We spent 4 nights on a mooring and one night on a slip when the weather was dicey and we needed to re-provision anyway. The slips especially are pricey for sure, but I think it was worth it, as the facilities are impeccable. The concrete docks are great, the restroom / shower room is spotless and air-conditioned, they are very dog-friendly, and the dockhands, launch operators, and office staff were all superb. They got me sprung into my slip with no drama, despite a 20-knot wind blowing me off at a terrible angle. What stood out the most to me was that every single member of the staff does everything possible to make you feel like a valued guest, whether you're from one of the 40-meter superyachts, or a 40-year-old sailboat like we were. Honestly we can't wait to come back.
Awesome facility, super friendly people everywhere you go at Parker's. We didn't use the launch, but we stayed on the dock one night and a mooring for two nights. Good solid moorings, clean restrooms and showers, plus a little clubhouse with foosball, ping-pong, a small library and seating area, and even loaner bicycles if you wanted to go see the sights! We spent most of the weekend anchored over at Basset's Island all day swimming in the warm water, and back to our base at Parker's for the night. Highly recommended.
We were planning on staying one day to hide out from a blow, but ended up finding a mechanical issue (blown raw water pump) and couldn't transit the canal as planned until it was fixed. We had to order parts, wait for UPS, stay two extra nights, move slips, and generally just became a pretty high-maintenance tenant. Through it all, the folks at Sandwich were extremely helpful and accommodating, and if we had to be broken down, I'd say it was a great place to be broken down. Good food nearby, nice area for walking the dog along the canal and the beach, and good clean facilities. Thanks everyone at Sandwich for all your help!
Great facility, very helpful staff, and great location. The on-site restaurant had good food and getting delivery right to the boat made for a very relaxed lazy week on the water. I trailered to their location and there is a free launch right next door, and I was given a parking pass for the week also. I did have to store my trailer off site.
The marina is beautiful and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers are brand new and air-conditioned, and are right on the dock itself so you don't have to walk all the way to shore. We stayed a week and had a fantastic time. It's an easy walk to all the downtown restaurants and shopping. The breakwater kept the marina quite calm and we slept great on the boat despite one night with a sustained 30 knot blow! The only issue we had would not be a problem for most people. We trailered to their location and used the launch ramp next door, but there was nowhere to park our truck or trailer on the marina grounds. I lucked out that I knew someone in the area, and I was able to store my trailer in their yard for the week. We had to use the metered town parking for my pickup. I wouldn't say it detracted from the experience, just something to be aware of if you're planning a trip with a trailered boat.
