We have been coming to DuSable Harbor each year for six years. Sean has made such a difference as harbormaster. He and his team put in the effort to find a slip that will work well for us, meet us on the dock as we arrive and take good care of us during our stay. It's a challenging marina area to keep up with since it is in the middle of an urban center with lots of non-boaters passing through. His team works hard to keep it all clean and nice.
We always enjoy our annual visit to Southport Marina. The staff take good care of transients and it's a nice town to visit.
The harbor staff at Waukegan are great. We are transient boaters all summer and stay at 20+ different harbors each year. Waukegan's staff are consistently the best we find anywhere. It's a very large harbor with a lot of boats and they manage it well.
The staff at Harbor Center marina were helpful giving us a slip that worked well for our sailboat without bow thrusters. We always appreciate marinas who go the extra distance to be helpful to boaters. The facilities are very nice.
The team at Reefpoint are very helpful and accommodating. They assign us slips that work well for our sailboat without bow thrusters. The facilities are kept clean, neat and in good condition. It always great to visit there.
