Wonderful location, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this marina.
Amazing marina! Staff is friendly and accommodating and feels like home.
Great marina. Clean restrooms, pool, hot tubs and close access to downtown Racine. We always enjoy staying at Reefpoint.
The staff couldn't have been more helpful. When we arrived there were not power posts left on the post. The came quickly with a splitter and solved several issues. Great team effort.
Great marina. Nice staff, restaurant and ship store.
Always a pleasant stay. Facilities are nice and I understand will be upgraded with a full reconstruction over the next 4 years.
We reserved for 1 night and enjoyed 3 nights instead. Marina facilities are clean and our neighbors welcomed us. Pool is nice to cool off! BrewHouse restaurant was convenient and Delicious
This marina is just fantastic! Wide slips, a restaurant, convenience store, and a pool and hot tubs open late for weary sailors after a long day of rough weather. Everyone there is just so kind too. They put the "nice" in Midwest Nice. If I could give them 6 stars, I would!
Friendly people and clean facilities
Ugh I just love this place. Staff is so friendly and always smiling. They help you with whatever you ask for. Brew house food is amazing. Being in this environment is amazing and me and my family love staying here this year! Can’t wait for next season!!!!
We always enjoy staying here! Docks are great, bar & restaurant is just fantastic. All the full time boaters that call it home are a pleasure to talk to. For our first year owning a boat, we’ve made a lot of friends there.
Great experienced and helpful deck hands!
Beautiful marina! Very friendly and accommodating staff!
Everyone at the marina was very friendly and made it a pleasure to visit. Carrie was very nice, helpful and made the process easy. Thanks Carrie! -Andrew
Love Reefpoint! Staff, marina, services are awesome. Our favorite weekend getaway.
This is a well run and efficient Marina The general manager, Carrie, is really nice and will accommodate your needs. We went for the wine a thon and it was great fun highly recommend this professionally run Marina.
Our experience at Reefpoint has been fantastic. Everything is kept clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We love the location to downtown Racine with shopping and dining options within walking distance.
Best Marina on the Great Lakes. I've called her home for the past 6 seasons. Impeccable service, numerous sights, entertainment venues and restaurants within walking distance. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Carrie and Joe do an amazing job of giving members and visitors a 5 Star experience every day. Wouldn't want to call anyplace else "home" for the Summer besides here. 🤗⛵
Great facilities backed by a welcoming and friendly staff. Racine on the waterfront also has lots to offer. I look forward to going back and spending more time!
Excellent clean and friendly
I love all of the amenities the pool and the hot tub. The facilities are always cleaned and the staff are always friendly and so easy to work with. The fuel attendants could not be more helpful when it comes to docking and pump out. I use the dock assistance all the time and they are always out there waiting and so helpful. I love having that available as the kids get a chance to earn some tips and make more money and get more practice tying up the boats. A great boating community.
Resort atmosphere. People are great. Office staff off the chart! Great stay, thanks.
Very attentive staff. Great amenities. Very clean restrooms. Well kept docs .
What an awesome Labor Day weekend. Carrie and her staff at Reefpoint were spectacular, always friendly and courteous. If you needed something they took care of it. Great facilities. What a place to “ boat watch”. Can not wait till next year.
Overall, the experience was quite disappointing. It began when we arrived after the office had closed on Thursday evening. I called the after hours number to receive keys and instructions and was told to call when the office was open, Friday at 8:00 am. After the staff contact "[his] boss", we received "temporary fobs" and again were told we needed to exchanged them at 8:00 am on Friday. We explained we were in a sailboat race that started at 8:00 am, and would be unable to do so. Additionally, we were not given any instructions about wifi codes/access. There was no ability to purchase ice, as nothing was open early, before our race. Lastly, while the showers were clean and bright, there was no soap in the showers, which is fairly standard in most marinas I've stayed at. Overall, I was surprised at the lack service orientation because I used to be a slipped at Waukegan Harbor for 2 years, also run by F3.
August 2023- the marina continues and lacks properly trained staff. Young man at the gas dock and could not answer simple questions and he sent me to a nearby bathroom but failed to tell me that I needed a key. When I checked in they failed to give me the password and I could not get online. August 2022 There was no one at the fuel dock. When someone finally showed up he said the attendant was at lunch. It was raining and windy so assistance would have been very helpful. I a previous stay the attendee on the marina phone was lacking knowledge and gave us the incorrect info on where our assigned slip was. Mostly we found the marina lacking professionalism , Helpful and knowledgeable.
Great Marina! This place is very large with 900+ slips. Lots of availability for transients. The facilities are very nice and clean. There is a large restaurant as well as convenient store that sells liquor, wine and beer! Racine downtown is a quick walk. The marina accommodated us, allowing us to stay for a few more hours to wait out Lake conditions.
Fun weekend. Good facilities. Nice service at the restaurant
Took $800. In Diesel fuel and then was hit with a $15. Pump out charge. It’s been my experience that you buy fuel most Marinas comp the pump out. Used to be that way here. Should have been posted. I can see the charge if you don’t take fuel. Petty maybe!
We met up with some friends for the 4th of July holiday - great facilities, well kept up, and clean as usual - we love it!
Super clean at least10 restaurants within walking distance.
Very welcoming, knowledgeable staff. A wonderful stay during a very busy holiday.
Enjoyed the 4th of July at Reefpoint Marina Excellent!
I called marina on June28 and canceled reseravation
Wonderful staff. Beautiful marina. Perfect stop when traveling the west coast of Lake Michigan.
The marina manager, Carrie, makes everyone feel special. She took the time to find a well that would accommodate both myself and a friend. This marina is extremely well kept and clean. You will not be disappointed here. We came for the memorial day weekend and this place is a resort. There's so much to do here. And main Street has many fun businesses.
I have been a slip holder at Reefpoint for over 20 years & after having read some of the very (few) negative reviews wanted to offer my perspective as someone that has seen the facility & management teams change over the years. The facility has always been VERY well designed, but different management teams have had different priorities. As with ANY organization, select time period issues & employees can be the source of a less then memorable experience. In my 20+ years I have certainly seen them come & go at Reefpoint. The current management team headed up by F3 & Carrie Reid do an overall EXCELLENT job of addressing slip holder needs & genuinely strive to make the facility safe, clean & FUN!! The current dockmaster (Joe) directs the workforce in a manner that is results orientated & service requests are acted upon promptly. Joe also is polite, very competent & listens to people. I hope that anyone reading this review keeps in mind this is a LARGE facility that is 35+ years old & requests for service must be prioritized. In closing I just want fellow boaters & potential visitors to know this is a real gem of a facility currently managed & staffed by great people that make daily continuous effort to improve the overall boating experience.
My wife and I started boating on Lake Michigan 2005. Since then, we have spent summers in Marinas from as far south as Hammond Marina all the way north to McKinley Marina Milwaukee. Bye far our favorite marina hands down is Reef Point Marine Racine Wisconsin. Best management & staff ship store personnel amenities marina restaurant. Racine downtown 10 minutes walking distance. The view of Lake Michigan beautiful. The Manager Carrie Reid and her staff are wonderful and your boat neighbors the best you will ever find on Lake Michigan. If you're looking for a great marina on Lake Michigan Reef Point Marina is the best, you'll ever find. Daniel & Linda Suliafu Bolingbrook, IL
Great marina! Our home port is Chicago, so we've spent a few weekends at Reefpoint, and love it every time. Super friendly staff. Decent restaurant on-site, and really close to a few other good ones too. Nice pool area. Clean, well-maintained bathrooms.
By far the BEST Marina around! It has all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable! Carrie and the staff are extremely attentive to all needs! Joe the Dockmaster has made a HUGE impact on the marina! He knows his stuff and works hard to make everything workable. Looking forward to seeing what’s new for next season ⚓️
Hands down best marina, best staff and best amenities! If you are ever within 50-75 miles of Reefpoint, you need to stop in and enjoy all that is there to offer.
We absolutely love this Marina! We have been coming here transient for about 14 years, returned this season as full timers and just love it. Friendly staff and the facilities are always clean! We had a little trouble with our Wi-Fi and a guy came out same day to help set us up! That’s service! Carrie does a fantastic job with events throughout the season: concert in the lot, wine tasting, boaters appreciation breakfast, end of season celebration etc…. The list goes on and on! So much to do in town with great restaurants! Highly recommend!
Great help with docking. Clean and well maintained marina. Did not use pool this time, but beautiful pool and hot tubs. Highly recommend.
Reefpoint Marina, in Racine, Wisconsin is fantastic marina. They have so much to offer, events almost every weekend, swimming for the grandkids, and a close community. The manager Carrie is awesome, and so is the rest of the staff. The facility is very well taken care of, like a resort. This is our second year, and it won't be our last.
Best Municipal Marina! GREAT Staff, GREAT bathrooms, GREAT showers, GREAT store, GREAT dog-friendly! CLEAN! Very well kept pool, hot tub, whirlpool. FRIENDLIEST Marina! The municipal Marina with a private yacht club feel!
We love this Marina! The staff is friendly and helpful. The amenities are well maintained and clean. Excellent on site restaurant. The slips are well protected so overnights are a joy.
I love this marina, great staff, beautiful scenery, and excellent on site restaurant. Looking forward to next year!
Gorgeous Marina! The Ship Store girls are amazing and always hard at work!! Great amenities as well! Including the fantastic restaurant and the great pool! Cant say theres a better marina out there!
Always clean, well run Marina. You’ll be happy you chose ReefPoint!
Great marina. This is our home marina during the summer. Staff is very pleasant and courteous. Joe has instituted some great processes with his operational staff which has resulted in so e great service improvements. Nice ship store and an onsite restaurant. We have our favorite restaurants which includes Older Madrid on 6th Street as number one. Carrie and her staff are extremely willing to help you out. When coming in as a transient, make sure you notify them in plenty of time before your arrival so that they can assist you if necessary. They have a lot of ground to cover.
Very clean and quiet with easy access to shop - its in the marina office, and restaurant - its right above the office. The downtown is few blocks walking, well worth it. Pool and hot tub is a huge plus - it was real treat to relax after long passage. Staff is helpful and attentive, on the phone, over email and in person. Loved the booking process - you get an email right away with the slip number and map attached - you know exactly where you going, docking side etc. Other marinas should make a note of this. Check out is painless, just leave the key in the drop box just inside the gate and off you go to the next adventure!
Marina is clean and quiet. They’re on top of emails, welcoming you ahead of time etc. Directions good, dock hands available to grab lines. They were very nice but couldn’t leave quickly enough. No help with power cord. No instructions where to check in. Had to ask another boater on the dock where the office was. Little bit of a walk but that’s no problem. Finally found the office after asking another person. It’s also the ships store. Went in with several others at the same time. Wandered around looking for a live person. Finally went somewhat behind the counter to see two young ladies sitting there, both on their phones! Absolutely clueless that there were people in the store. I finally said excuse me for interrupting/bothering you but I need to check in. Oh ok, didn’t realize you were here. Hmm maybe you could get your noses out of the darn phones? Pretty sure you’re getting paid to work, not be on your phones. Anyways, they were pleasant and polite. Racine is a nice town. Had the best Thai food ever (place called Sticky Rice). No place to leave key cards (by the way they don’t always work) when departing, nothing open that early, no drop box, gal didn’t even say they wanted them back but I assumed. Found a place to hide them, called office to say where I left them. Overall nice stop.
Very clean! Beautiful setup. Cute store, a very nice restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating and live music. Loved it. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Friendly staff and people on the docks. We ended up here because of weather. We also went to the Bristol Renaissance Faire which was a blast
Great Marina. Brewhouse was excellent. Nice Pool & Hot Tub. Nice Ships Store and boaters lounge
Great facilities and staff is really friendly! Great location for walking to town with lots of bars and restaurants.
Excellent service at the fuel dock. Very helpful and informative for our weekend stay @ Reefpoint. Harbor master Joe was there to assist in docking and teaching his support staff how to properly tie up boats to the dock. Taylor made the high fuel prices more tolerable with a smile and very efficient service. Thanks for making our stay so pleasant. Footloose V
Great marina! We’re a deep keeled (6’9”) sailboat. Had no issues. Great amenities and cheerful staff. Try Salute for Italian in town (Only a few blocks away)
Friendly staff …great facilities.
Spent three nights at Reefpoint. Great staff. Clean bathrooms. Good fuel prices. Ok WIFI. Slowed down quite a bit on weekend with everyone at the marina.
Reef point is a great place to stay! Staff was great. Property was awesome. Have a great restaurant on site. We extended our stay because it was such a nice place, very friendly and everyone was so helpful.
Excellent facilities, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Ships store well stocked for galley provisions - don't miss the Kringle. Very good diesel price. Wi-fi rather weak.
Nicest marina I've stayed at so far!
Clean docks, friendly boaters, great pool and restaurant
Hands down the best marina on Lake Michigan
Great facility. Fabulous staff!
We only stayed one night. Dockhands did a great job getting us into the slip. No need for line adjustments. Had a great dinner at Brew House. One of the best marinas on the lake.
Third time doing the great loop and first time going down west side of Lake Michigan. I have been staying at a great marina in Milwaukee but decided on a weekend trip to Racine with 4 other boats. The price we paid was $40 for a 40’ slip for 3 nights ($126 total per boat) when arriving at the marina I broke my steering cable on my 35’ sailboat about a mile off shore. We did a quick repair to get us to dock and it worked just fine. I decided to enjoy the 4th of July weekend and worry about the issue after holiday (stores closed and what not) I let the operations manager know in person a couple times per day my status. And that I’d need to stay one extra night and she said no worries and all that jazz. I asked to settle up with them after I figured out how long I’d need and to just tally the bill as we went, after all they insisted on me giving them a credit card upon arrival even tho my slip was bought and paid for by someone else in out party who paid for all the slips for all 5 boats. I had zero issue giving a card to have on file but I specifically spoke to the operation manager about not charging me until it was a final bill (I don’t need the paperwork of 5-10 receipts when it can be on one) she more than agreed and said fine however we did agree on charging one night and then the rest when I was departing and returning entry keys fab. The next am they took 3 nights out $126 same as what they charged for 3 nights over busiest weekend of their entire year. Mind you I was only there 1 extra night. I immediately requested the money be put back and the operations manager Lauren said she would do what she can and she communicated with me the entire time even on her day off (that’s why y’all get 1 star instead of 0) she promised me that the marina top dog named Carrie would call me shortly but guess what she never did! I did see her walking around with a bunch of stuffed shirted suits all day basically doing nothing. I needed help and she 100% blew me off day after day! Reefpoint marina has a major issue and it begins with the two ladies running it! Neither of them knows how to properly communicate and ever worse follow thru with what they said they will do! Weeks later I’m still waiting on my refund. Before this issue I had nothing but great things to say, hell they sent me the link to write this review! Had they just done what they said and or followed up it would be a great review but when you mess with someone’s money and refuse to fix it this is called karma I hope it bites you hard! By the way the best part of the stay was the restaurant and it’s staff my last call with Lauren I mentioned it and she admitted they aren’t affiliated, guess I could have told ya that based on experience with both entities. Amazing food, amazing service and amazing atmosphere vs. money stealing, confused, horrible follow thru, terrible communication. I haven’t even begun to talk another the racist things I heard about after we all regrouped in Milwaukee. We are a very diverse group of awesome karma believing people from all over the world within our 5 boats. 2 hot tubs 1 jammed with white people blasting country music the other 1 black lady in it being told she can’t listen to her music by the “permanent residents” y’all could have a great thing there in Racine but with the way those ladies especially clueless Carrie run things y’all will just keep being the armpit of lake michigan
Spent the Fourth of July weekend an absolutely beautiful marina staff are so friendly we forgot our power cords they loaned us a set. The restaurant is absolutely incredible there was live music for the weekend pool clean well-maintained too hot tubs grills fire pit and the staff super super friendly even the other boaters just made it feel like you’re in a resort. We are now going to move from our current marina down there for permanent.
a couple boarded our boat at about midnight while we were sleeping . I awoke and scared them off . very strange . security was called. my wife and i did not sleep very well afterwards very disturbed.
We just visited the marina for the first time renting a transient slip for the holiday weekend. This is beautiful marina and very well kept with easy slip access and all the amenities. The marina store has just about anything you may need in the spur of a moment. We are definitely staying there again
Slips are in great condition, super clean restrooms and showers, pool is also well kept even with heavy use.
We booked Reefpoint through Dockwa about a week before and was confirmed within a few hours. We were sent the slip allocation by email a few days before the trip and, on the day of the trip, sent a marina map. When we arrived, we pulled directly into the slip and get setup. The floating slip was newer and had water and electric hookup. I stopped by the shop and picked up key cards and a welcome bag - all very quick and easy. The bathrooms are kept clean and tidy, as was the pool area and Grilling area. all in all a really well maintained property and we had a good time. We will be back!
Great weekend at Reefpoint. Our group was placed together on one dock, enjoyed dinner at Reefpoint Brewhouse and a group cookout at the W Dock boathouse patio. Loved being able to use the pool & hot tub this year. Everything went smoothly.
Just fine, The slip was ready when we got in, we made it before closing which was good. Clean facilities, good restaurant. quiet night. Reefpoint was flexible with me having to change arrival date due to boat issues. It is a stopping point on our trips North.
The marina facilities are wonderful and the staff very friendly and helpful! The only negative (and reason for the 4 stars) while here was the weak and intermittent WiFi. The town has a lot to offer in the way of restaurants and shops. We will definitely return in the near future.
The harbor and docks were nice. The bathroom and showers clean. The electronic gate keys did not work consistently. It took several attempts to open the gates at times. The only other issue is that we could not join the Wifi at all.
Everything was excellent at ReefPoint. My boat arrived Saturday July 11 and was received cheerfully after hours. In addition to night staff, boaters at the dock were very helpful . Adding Saturday to my week reservation starting Sunday July 12 were readily made while under way. We found clean organized docks and spacious and clean. restrooms. Food at the restaurant was good for the many time we ate there. The boat was watched during the week when we were not there. On returning Thursday July 16 through starting the HOOK race Saturday ,to returning after dropping out of the HOOK race due to storm damage, staff made changing reservations painless, and were cheerflu and helpful. The security guard we met several times was wonderful. The Marina is very protected from the elements and intruders. I have no hesitation leaving it there in the future.
very poorly managed Marina. Fail to tell you they have no boat launch or truck, trailer parking. you can pay the city launch and parking and then pay the marina to dock. called the marina to see how far I would have to walk as a vet with a bum hip and thr guy just chuckled and said I know, it sucks but offered no ideas on how to solve the issue. then, after paying city launch fees, driving my trailer 1.5 hours back home. I was able to park at the marina ...only to get a call saying transients cant park in the secure parking lot or the will tow at my expense. if you have a yacht and are just jumping marina to marina, they do have nice facilities... just dont expect much of your an average family boater or fisherman. Salmon O Rama should move to a marina that caters to all boaters.
Lovely marina and staff is awesome! Even during this difficult time they are open for socially distant boating. We are staying all month until Milwaukee county gets their act together.
What more can I say other than it’s our home away from home!!! Everything is so clean and well taken care of. Staff is great too!
Great, clean marina! Carrie and her staff make this one of the best marinas. Close walk to nearby downtown Racine.
Reefpoint is by far our favorite marina. My wife and I have always enjoyed our stays here. The manager, Carrie, does a wonderful job of making sure everything runs smooth at Reefpoint and the rest of staff could not be any nicer or more accommodating. The marina's amenities are plentiful, as are those of the surrounding area. Reefpoint is well protected from the unwanted forces of Lake Michigan. Even when the wind and wakes are at their worst, the water at the slips remains calm and peaceful. If you haven't been to Reefpoint, do yourself a favor and add it to your list of "must visit" marinas. You won't be disappointed.
Beautiful marina with clean updated facilities. Restaurants at the marina and town nearby.
Has a lot of amenities, pool, restaurant, nice showers, close to downtown
The team at Reefpoint are very helpful and accommodating. They assign us slips that work well for our sailboat without bow thrusters. The facilities are kept clean, neat and in good condition. It always great to visit there.
Best Marina on Lake Michigan! Pool, restaurants, great staff.
One of the nicest marinas we've visited on Lake Michigan. Immaculate facilities and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Great location to downtown Racine. We will be back.
Nice Marina, clean facilities, nice pool and hot tub, very friendly staff. The Brewhouse restaurant on sight has good food at good prices. The short walk to town was nice too.
Due to stormy weather and high waves, we had to cancel our stay. However, Reefpoint is only 9 miles from our home of Southport Marina in Kenosha. We have and will continue to visit the restaurants in the area and plan a future stay.
Great stop. 3rd time back. Quaky team and staff start to finish. Clean and efficient. One if he better marinas in this side if he Lake.
I've sailed mostly in Michigan waters and I found this marina affords a wide variety of amenities for the transient slip charges.
