We usually start our Bay vacations with an overnight stop at Bay Bridge Marina since it is close by and provides a convenient point to head north or south. The floating docks are probably the nicest I have come across. The facility is well-protected from any waves and provides beautiful sunsets. Lots of room for our Golden Retriever to run around and get some exercise. Bathroom/shower facilities are clean and cool. Several eating options nearby.
We try to make at least one trip to HHN each sailing season. This is one of our favorite marina destinations in the mid-bay area and is a good stopping point on our way to Solomons. The HHN facility is vast and very well-kept. Most things you could need are on-site including dining, a West Marine, a dog park, two lounges, vending machines, ice, pool, etc.. They've done a great job at merging a marina facility with the natural surrounds. It's a favorite stop for our Golden Retriever.
As is the norm for our visits to Osprey Point marina over the last 10 years, this most recent stay was excellent. Facilities are top notch and well-maintained, staff is very helpful and friendly, and the unusually comfortable summer weather this weekend (which I don't think Osprey Point had anything to do with:)) made for a great visit. It's one of our golden retriever's favorite marinas!
