Nice new piers! Friendly and helpful staff. Ashley drove us to a bike shop to get a new tube...in her own car. On the drive she pointed out lots of nearby shops, restaurants, and things to see. Having Stony's bar and grill almost on site is a great advantage -- good food and great drinks.
Nice marina and staff, clean/modern bathrooms and showers (if needed), fun bar/restaurant with realistic prices, great walking trail, easy walk to town to more shops and restaurants!! Also an adjoining hotel and cottages for those non-boater friends. Love this place.
Peaceful, well kept marina. Staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. Always great to have dockhands available to help out. Mallards is on site plus an easy walk to town! Beautiful creek. We'll be back in September!!
We have been to Solomon's many times, but this was our first time at Zahnisers. Unfortunately the weather was terrible, so we did not get to use the pool, but the new floating piers were excellent, WIFI was the strongest of any marina we visited on our 2 week trip, bath houses were newly renovated, clean and cool, dockhands were helpful and the on-site Italian restaurant was steps away from our slip. We will definitely be back!!
Everything was great...dockhands were very helpful, Marina staff knowledgeable, newly equipped laundry, helpful shuttle service to Cape May (but a nice walk too!), recently renovated showers, great marina store! We'll be back!
Well, the location is absolutely beautiful!! We were there on a day when the tiki bar was closed, so we grilled and hung out at the pool. Piers are very nice, dock master was helpful and knowledgeable, but overall I hope that the investors decide to go ahead with their plan to build and upgrade. It could be an absolutely wonderful, relaxing and fun stop, right off the Bay on the Rappahannock!
The new piers and bathhouse are wonderful. The staff is very friendly! There are bikes and a van to share among the transients...and a pool with a view! Relaxing and comfortable...we'll be back!!
Nice marina. Reasonably priced, helpful staff, clean/cool transient bathrooms/showers. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in the great town of Havre de Grace. Only negative is that they do not have a pool...
Tides Inn continues to make improvements to their facility. The beach is a lovely place to sit and have a beverage; the staff (especially at the Marina) is wonderful, the new "boardwalk" is and will be a perfect addition, the bikes make for perfect rides around town and the food was excellent this time!
