Just spent a night there and won't go back. Docks are new and nice but there was no working electric. Dockmaster, nor any other staff, even came to introduce themselves, let alone fix the problem. I requested a partial refund for the electric and now they won't answer text or phone calls. Worst customer service in Newport - won't go back.
Great experience! Good solid floating docks and the dockmaster was great. Thanks for taking great care of us!
While the service was good, the docking situation was not. Came in on a 70' m/y and despite having a reservation they only had about 20' of dock for us to tie up to so they wanted to tie us to some rocks... Power didn't work so we had to run the gens all night and fresh water didn't work in the slip so we had to disrupt another boat to borrow the hook up for a while.
Nice facility, great place to spend a night. Docks are large and solid, with clean electric and strong water pressure at the slip. Staff were great when we got there, however, nobody answered on the radio or phone even though staff were sitting at the gas dock ready to help. Gate has a lock but they were't using it, but it's right behind the coast guard station so it seemed quite safe.
