We do offer one important service and that is a harbor of refuge. If you ever have been unfortunate enough to be caught in a wind against tide situation in Rhode Island Sound or Buzzards Bay, you’ll be happy to wait it out at Third Beach.

NoReportHarbor and harbormaster were great - helpful and professional. Setting could not have been better. Only flaw was the unpleasant man sharing the inner mooring with us - made several disparaging comments about my boat etc.. Clearly this was not the fault in any way of the harbormaster, but if the weather is calm I would choose the outer moorings next time. Sadly made out stay less leasant
I am so sorry to hear about your unfortunate mooring mate. Next time, please let us know if there are any issues with those you are rafted with and we will be happy to switch you to the other inner harbor mooring to make your stay more pleasant.
