Very nice, well protected marina. Staff were responsive, very friendly & helpful. Dock was easily accessed & in great condition. The bathroom/shower rooms were wonderful (private toilet & shower suites) & clean. The entry channel is deep & well marked. The marina is downtown & easy walking access to restaurants (including the ones onsite) and shopping.
Marina staff were very friendly & accommodating while arranging for our stay. Unfortunately we were not able to stay with them due to low water depths as a result of strong easterly winds on the day of expected arrival.
Great sense of community among boaters - dockers, live aboards & transients. Good facilities. Easy access from Gulf of Mexico. Great protection with well marked entrance channel.
This is a wonderful marina. Transient dock is in good condition & a short walk to the restrooms/showers. Laundry reasonably priced. Location is incredible - close to center of town, new pier, restaurants, music, museums, brew pubs… Entrance easy to navigate. Only (constructive) criticism - wish they had wifi at the marina.
Marina very well protected from wind in all directions. Bit of a circuitous route around bay to get to very clearly marked entrance channel. Stayed on very nice floating transient/dinghy dock. Wind blew 20 to 30 knots first 2 days of our stay & we barely moved. Because dock is dual purpose, its a bit low. We were glad we had our folding stool aboard. Restrooms were very nice.
Great marina. Well protected, comfortable floating docks. Restrooms clean & in good repair. Nice facilities - pool, sauna, exercise room (closed due to covid & change of season). Walked to town (about 15 minutes). Found Duncan Doughnuts (good coffee) and some nice restaurants. Steve, dock master was amazing. We called for transient dock reservation about half hour out while coming down Hudson. He texted marina map with our slip highlighted in yellow, photos of our dock & surrounding landmarks. We would definitely stay again.
Best mooring balls we have ever seen. Very peaceful.
