Great experience. Much quieter than the marina directly in town and still an easy and lovely walk to town. Staff were a delight to work with, professional, and attentive. The facilities and amenities were one of the best (and cleanest) we’ve seen so far. Way to go!

Hawthorne Cove was great. Dock hands were helpful; facilities were nice and the internet actually worked! Close to town. Will return.
Lousy! Harbormaster put us on the furthest away buoy saying there were no others and all day long we saw their buoys going unoccupied. The no wake zone is non-existent so the further out you are the rougher it is. When we went ashore the harbormaster directed us to the wrong dinghy dock where we proceeded to get yelled at for docking there. The waterfront is pretty disjointed and after spending a few hours ashore decided to head out for another location. It will not be on our 'Places to return to" list.
Great stay. Town dock is brand new. No water or power, yet; but the location to town and the friendliness of the dock workers more than made up for it. It does get shallow at low tide so if you draw more than four feet, be careful. One of the nicest harbors of our five week trip!
Good staff. Great facilities. Construction work was a bit noisy at times, but other than that a great stay.
Facilities are first rate. Very well laid out and staff is helpful. We’d return anytime.
