Great customer service. Great location. Walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Restrooms, showers, laundry. Special shout out to Mark Tubbs for helping us get a great spot to tie up to and Brandon in the woodworking area for taking extra special care of us. We needed a few small pieces of teak to repair a damaged spot in our boat and Brandon gave them to us and asked us just to pay it forward. All the people are extremely nice and helpful. The boats that they are working on are amazing. A very well run yard.
Bad experience. Coming into harbor guy on channel 71 could not verbalize where our mooring bouy was located?? When we went to the marina office found out oh by the way we had a fire 2 weeks ago that destroyed our bathrooms, showers and laundry but you are welcome to our 2 portapoties! Walked to town = a mlle for dinner and called for water taxi back to their marina. No reply so walked to marina and took our dinghy back to the boat. Got a call back just as we boarded with excuses blaming us for not calling on channel 71. I don’t know about you but I do not take my VHF radio to shore or dinner. Avoid if you want descent service and honesty about their Services. Also put us at far end of mooring field with bad swells all night when they had lots of mooring space closer in where it was much quieter. They really didn’t give a damn if you were comfortable or had a good stay just whined about how bad this summer was with the fire and the virus. Worst hospitality on the ME coast so far!!
Best experience at a marina traveling the east coast so far! Protected waters. Guesthouse was the nicest we have ever used. Spa equivalent shampoo, conditioner, body wash supplied. Hair dryer, razors, towels supplied if you need them. Free laundry. Free coffee in the mornings. Brand new courtesy car to use. Nice outdoor furniture seating area with fire pit and bbq grill to use. Great on site restaurant. Special thanks to Dock attendant, Havana, for all his help. The owners even came out and introduced themselves. We will definitely be back!
The customer service is beyond fabulous, from helping getting moored or docked, to free blueberry muffins and coffee delivered to your boat in the morning to a great restaurant with amazing food and service to free laundry and the nicest shower we’ve seen at any marina! Great job! It is rolly in the mooring fields. Much nicer tied to the dock.
