We go to Port Jefferson every year and stay with the Yacht Club. Other thank the occasional ferry the mooring field is very calm, especially overnight. The launch runs from 8a-11p, longer than most others. The local park offered concerts and a movie Wednesday and Thursday nights. When open, you’ll find warm and welcoming members at the Yacht Club.
Five stars if they offered launch service. Nice club with friendly and welcoming members. Nice restaurant on premises. We didn’t explore much so I can’t comment about the area. No complaints, not a bad stop over if in the area.

The only reason I gave this 4 stars was their hours of operation. If you arrive late everything closes early so no launch, ice, laundry, etc. The showers remained open. Nice calm harbor and a nice dinghy ride up to Mystic. Noank seems to still be feeling the effects of COVID so most everything is closed or closes early.
Great service. Calm harbor. Essex is beautiful and the people are very nice. The employees were all so helpful and polite. TIP: they have laundry at $5.00 a load (wash/dry) but you need quarters! Bring a few rolls with you if you plan to use this service. They were not easy to acquire.
