Introduction:

Mullet Creek is located on the Indian River to the east of Intracoastal Waterway Mile Marker 930 and Grant Farm Island. A great place to cast a line for tarpon or snook, Mullet Creek has one- to three-foot depths and is best left to outboard powered boats and dinghies.

Navigating the Water:

Use NOAA Chart 11472.

The north entrance to Mullet Creek can be reached with a shallow draft vessel by exiting the ICW route at green daybeacon “37,” and then heading east toward Mullet Creek. This area is for small boat exploration only.
