High Cliff State Park Marina

It was a beautiful time. Sam and Jodi at the marina couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They were great! Wonderful people and they made the stay exceptional. Will be doing it again. Possibly this summer again.

We reserved a transient slip online for seven days starting Sunday afternoon. We received a confirmation email but no other information such as slip number. I did speak with them by phone before making our reservation about needing to purchase gas, slip sizes, and other accommodations. I was informed they had started their off season hours of only being open Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Everything should have been fine for our arrival but unfortunately they closed early on Sunday due to Green Bay playing football. I couldn’t purchase gas and we didn’t know which slip to use. We tried calling the office number posted on the door, emailing our prior contact person but nothing. This Marina is owned and located within a State Park so we called the Park Office who gave us another phone number to try. No luck. On Monday we went ahead and unloaded the boat and found a empty slip to use and ended up purchasing gas from another marina across the lake that we heard about. We did finally receive a phone call and they explained why they closed early (football game) and they would reopen on Friday if I needed something?? Before we left for home on Saturday I did ask them for a refund for Sunday which they gave.

I must like it because I keep coming back to sail on Lake Winnebago. This is a very well-protected harbor with good bathroom/shower facilities (but the floors could have been cleaner) and friendly staff. It's in a nice state park. The marina is brightly lit, so shades or curtains will help at night. Circulating pumps around the harbor make noise, so listen from your slip before nightfall. On weekends there is quite a bit of day-use, powerboat traffic at the ramps, but that didn't cause us any problem.

I've been keeping my sailboat at High Cliff since 2013 and I just love this marina. I can literally be sails up within 10 minutes of stepping on the boat, the views of the cliffs and limekiln ruins are fantastic, and the sunsets across Lake Winnebago are amazing. Harbormaster is also a sailer, and is very knowledgable.

High Cliff has an awesome marina and the harbor master is great to work with! I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This was our first visit with our boat to High Cliff. The HarborMaster and assistant were very courteous and helpful. They are running a great marina and because of that we will be back many more times! Highly recommend this marina!

Great Marina and friendly helpful staff.

The marina staff goes above an beyond unlike other northern marinas on Winnebago. We will definitely be coming back. (WiFi was available but spotty at best).

Staff was helpful & courteous. Docks could cleared of bird excrement a little better.

Seemed early for the marina to be shut down, but it was nice to have the bathrooms open on one side of the harbor. Had a great weekend.

Weekday hours could be longer. Staff and facilities were great. Launch was slimy and very steep.
