Dec/Jan, 2023 We really enjoyed our stay at Seafood Shack MARINA. HARLEY, the dock master and operations manager is TOP NOTCH! GEORGE, restaurant manager, is helpful with local knowledge and a great guy. The marina is clean and safe. The bathroom and shower facilities are clean, but they need updating. We love the use of a code and not a key or fob; this makes it so much easier and user-friendly. Suggestion: install and washer/dryer for boaters The marina is close to Anna Maria Island shops, restaurants, beaches, and bike trails Thanks for a great long-term stay!
I am writing this review to hopefully help others from having a bad experience. This marina is located at a very busy waterway. Boat traffic, coast guard boats, major bridge and raising noises you have 24 hrs 7 days a week. Not a calm place to hang. The free wifi is just that I'd you can get on. It is very limit in the speed and doesn't cover the whole dockage. Don't bank on it. The wooden fix docks are in very poor condition. The pylons are not in the ground enough to hold your boat during a blow. Be prepared to have rubbing or more. The bathrooms are way below standard for this priced dockage. One has not berm operational for months, leaving only one for both male and female that is very poor condition. Now, the restaurant food is good as advertised.
The docks were relatively recently rebuilt and the people & staff are all very friendly. Plus, there is an excellent restaurant right at the marina! This marina is one of the very few in the greater Tampa area which can handle larger vessels and most likely will have a slip available for you!
Great place to transient dock or stay. The marina staff(Harley and Jacob) are very helpful and always making sure you are happy! The food is also great!
