Meyer's Pier Marina

I rented docks there for 20 years, 10 at Meyers Pier Marina. The staff chronically stay in the office playing on their phones. All the while bird poop is left on docks. Floatsum not cleaned in the fingers. Fishermen allowed to fish in the inner harbour even though a bylaw makes it illegal. Illegal non mufflered boats serviced. Nothing done about big wave makers inside the harbour. Non marine grade electrical cords left dangling in the water. Can you say electrocution if you fall in! If your boat bumper rides up, too bad they won't fix it. They don't know how to safely handle big heavy yachts. Homeless people break into boats. They get drunk and high in neighboring Victoria Park marina (also Belleville owned operated). Restaurant drunks pee and vomit in the washroom sinks. I've tried for 5 years, emails, conversations, and phone calls to try and get the city to do their job. Nothing. Except this year they refused to rent me docks, and didn't have the courtesy to at least inform me. This is called Retribution eviction and is illegal. I'm done with them. Gone to Crates Marine who locals have nothing but great things to say.

Docks were only fair. The marina isn't protected much from the currents and wind. The showers were poor... dirty, cold water for the longest time. We took a short walk into the city but didn't feel safe and returned to the boat promptly.
