Our beautiful location along the Kent Narrows is a wonderful place to dock your boat!
Transients are welcome to an overnight or weekend stay at our private club or you can join KIYC to enjoy our club year-round and get a full lease (April 1st thru March 31st.) at a very reasonable rate or discounted transient rates. KIYC is easy to get to by car and puts you close to so much by boat. In addition to dockage, we now have 15 RV parking sites available for KIYC Members, Member quest and Reciprocating Yacht Clubs. RV sites are listed as moorings.
By boat, KIYC is just 11 miles from either Rock Hall to its north or Saint Michaels to its south. With Chester and Corsica rivers just to its north and Eastern Bay, Wye and Miles rivers to its south you can pick your game whether you want to fish, crab, sail, anchor out, visit historic towns, etc, etc. Knapps Narrows is just a short jump and Oxford just beyond that. Approximately 21 miles to Baltimore for City life with Aquarium, Museums, etc or to Annapolis with Naval Academy and all it has going on. Want to go further, you have the entire Chesapeake Bay at your call.
Afterward you can cruise back to KIYC to lay back and relax at an Eastern Shore pace while enjoying its serene setting and all the amenities. Close-by, visit the cross island trail, heritage center, environmental center and more. KIYC has very attractive slip rates (membership required) and when you want to visit other areas the list of reciprocal Yacht clubs is very impressive. Make KIYC your home port and truly enjoy all boating has to offer within easy reach.
And our POOL! Enjoy spectacular views of Prospect Bay while you are in our heated saltwater pool (open from April till September) order food from our Kitchen's full menu along with libations from our bar brought to you at the pool. Have fun at the TIKI Bar, sit on the patio or in the Lounge and enjoy a million-dollar view while making friends, eating great food, and partaking in beverages.

Another great stay at the Kent Island Yacht Club. The Commodore personally came out to visit and help with the lines. Currents can be a little tricky so it’s best to use spring lines in both directions. Local area is great with close access to many nice restaurants,
We pulled into one of the most southerly slips just south of the walk to the front door of the clubhouse. This slip is cross current. The wind came up from the south and with an ebb current created a lot of rocking and rolling. Make sure you tie up in a location allowing current parallel to the boat. Very nice club with great facilities.
Outstanding , The employees and Officers couldn’t do enough for all 12 boats that stayed over the holiday weekend.
It is a wonderful place to camp and a beautiful marina. We will be back.
Nice facilities. Good food. Friendly people! Well be back!! But, beware of the current!! Docking at full ebb or flood can be extremely challenging!!
We were there with our RV and other friends with their RVs. We had an excellent time 7/4-8/24. Kent Island Yacht Club is so beautiful and everyone is so friendly. Also, we went to the club on Friday and Saturday nights. The gal singing on Friday night was terrific and the band on Saturday was awesome! Our waitress/server was so sweet-Carolyn. We had a fabulous time! Thank you to Coy and his crew as the campground area is so nice and spacious. We’ll definitely be back. (PS We used to all have boats and come to KIYC and now we have RVs and are so happy that you guys allow RVs.) Thanks again.
We enjoyed our two day stay here! Very friendly staff, nice facility and very close to a number of great restaurants. Docks were in great shape, good water pressure, no issues with electric and a decent bathroom/ shower facility. There is a pool on site and a restaurant and bar as well!
Commodore Jeff and his wife Stacey made us feel right at home! Great place. Will definitely visit again.

Extremely friendly people and nice yacht club. The commodore came out to grab a line and greet me.
An excellent location to stay when in Kent Island. Unfortunately, we arrived on a Monday to find that the entire yacht club is closed that day, and only the pool is open on Tuesday. We left on Wednesday when the yacht club, Tiki bar, restaurant, and bars are open for business. We will definitely return to this location when in Kent Island and look forward to our next visit. We will just be sure to plan to be there between Wednesday and Sunday.
First time visitor. Our stay was delightful. The folks at Kent Island Yacht Club couldn't have been any nicer. Will definitely be there again!
Had a great weekend, everyone we encountered was helpful. Tiki bar and clubhouse staff were very good. Grounds are really nice, awesome spot. We will be back!
Very friendly yacht club and very accommodating
There weren't any dockhands but the event was top notch.

The people of the club are incredibly friendly, pool and pool side bar were very nice and clean. The marina itself was okay, It’s just off of big water and a little choppy, finger piers are a tad short. It’s across the harbor from all of the restaurants and although they are close the way the crow flies, it’s a very long walk. A club member let us borrow a car which was very nice.
The grounds of the yacht club are awesome, sitting on a peninsula with water views in every direction. We went to see the fireworks and it was a perfect location; a good live band, drinks at the tikibar and a cookout menu made for a fun experience. The transient dock is a bit tricky to get into and the tidal current rips past it on peak flow. I would suggest timing your arrival and departure based on the tides.
The marina is small and quiet. It is perfect for watching the races or relaxing watching the boats come through the narrows. Excellent venue for weddings!!
