Ludington Municipal Marina

I have struggled with writing this review. This marina is conveniently located and is an easy walk to downtown. Fuel is reasonably priced. Washrooms are adequate for the type of facility. Laundry facilities are fair. Nice boaters lounge. Some floating and some fixed docks, but surge and tide really are not issues in this area so no worries in that regard. The marina is quite well protected. If you just need a place to stay, this marina is fine. My concerns: There is no manager on site. The staff was rude and unhelpful. When inquiring about something, apparently they were bored with the conversation and walked away without any clear resolution. I was guaranteed something on the phone that did not happen. I will not stay here again and would recommend Harbor View instead. While you may have ferry noise, the staff are more attentive and responsive. Both facilities are actually managed by the city and the manager is housed at Harbor View.
