I called into Camarinas in 2006 as a one stop from Gibraltar to Portsmouth. Two of us set off from Gib in mid Sept and fancied a run ashore before crossing Biscay. We couldn't have chosen better. Camarinas was charming, hospitiable and so non-commercial. It was a breath of fresh air compared to the Eastern Med's English breakfasts and soring prices. I give it 4 out 5 stars simply because it is so natural and does not have all the aminities expected by our power boat cousins. I would have given 5 stars but fuelling up at the short inner leg on the middle pontoon was a bit precarious with a 40 footer in a brisk Westerly. A nice long hose would've been nice! My plan is to return with my Grandchildren and explore the area for a couple of weeks, they're young and would love the adventure. Thanks for your hospitality S/y Pamela C
