Very nice marina. Clean. Easy in and out. People were friendly and helpful. Calvin and Kara were exceptionally helpful. Good wifi. A short walk to Brady street for music and food. Good fuel prices.
My wife and I have traveled to McKinnley marina many times over the last 10 years and we are never disappointed. The people are friendly, the bathrooms are clean, and the docks are well maintained. Restaurants and entertainment are within walking distance (although it is uphill for a bit) and the coffee shop on the corner is outstanding. We always look forward to our trips to Brew Town.
Nice marina with decent facilities. The diesel prices were amongst the lowest we encountered during our trip along the Western coast of Lake Michigan and the pump-out mechanism worked especially well compared to most. One can walk straight into town from here. As the marina is very large, the office will ask for transients to pull up to the fuel dock, which can get very congested, to receive their slip assignment in order to save a long walk.
