Wednesday night seafood buffet -- Come by car or by boat and tie up at our on-site marina. Gas for cars and boats.
This marina is a cute little place with very few other boats. They have basic amenities (water and power) and a good seafood restaurant and seafood shop with very friendly and attentive staff. No marina bathhouse. It was a great place to stop for a couple of quiet nights during a rainy and windy storm. The wary part is getting here. The bridge is reported as 18 or 19 feet depending on who you read. We called and the marina told us it is 18 so we had to take the north entrance. The north entrance is very much shallower than the charts show. We found as low as 4 feet in the little entrance channel. Aquamaps got us through, but it is still shallow. Highly recommend this channel on the higher tide.
This is a restaurant that happens to have a marina. On our arrival we were unable to reach anyone by radio or phone so had to tie up to the fuel dock and walk into the office to get a slip assignment. There were no dock hands to assist. If you don’t mind a barebones facility you’ll be fine.
Very enjoyable stay and good restaurant!
