Westland Boatyard & Marina is under new ownership & management as of May of 2019! Customers can expect to find a boater friendly environment full of avid sailors and cruisers.
Westland Boatyard & Marina is located on the Intracoastal Waterway in Titusville, Florida. With 70 wetslips and 6+ acres of do-it-yourself upland dry yard, the marina is very popular among Do-It-Yourself boaters. Our travel lift can haul out boats to 65' and 50 tons. Bottom painting, diesel/gas mechanic, fiberglass/gelcoat repair, and general refurbishing are all available on site.
The basin is well-protected from waves and has a depth of 8 to 12 feet. Depth in Approach Channel is 7-9 feet. No discernable tide due to locks at Port Canaveral. Transient vessels welcome.
This marina is under new ownership and it shows! Dock office is lovely with coffee, breakfast, snacks, ice, and small parts available. Newly remodeled bathrooms/showers/laundry room that are nicer than a few of the yacht clubs where we've stayed. Great communication - we received emails thanking us for staying. AND I forgot my phone in a restaurant one night and the office gentleman offered me a ride to pick it up. Great service!!! The only negative comment I would say is that live-aboards could be asked to keep boats in more presentable, or working condition. But it is nice to see that live-aboards are allowed as so many marinas just don't allow them anymore.
horrible marina, got sexually harassed and kicked out over slanderous comments made by the harasser and his insecure girlfriend. Office lady is very unprofessional and down right rude. She has no place dealing with customers with her rude disposition. Some of their dock hands are convicted felons and drug addicts. These felons are trusted on costly vessels! Stay clear of this marina, if you are looking for a nice marina just go nest door to the city marina and past westland on by.
Generally poor conditions, poorly maintained, Very few amenities, as in "none". Several patrons I spoke with had little good to say. A generally good ol' boy attitude, meaning very unprofessional, and quite opinionated, more than happy to TELL you how YOU should fix/paint/maintain YOUR boat. Office management seems competent, but not really in tune with what is going on in the marina. Some people get free service, some are charges for services never provided. You're taking your chances with this one.
