Our 100ft yacht was heading up the Hudson to Haverstraw Marina this morning with VIP guests after a wonderful stay at Jersey City’s Newport Marina. Haverstraw Marina abruptly and unexpectedly reversed their earlier invitation to let us dock and dine there, leaving us and our guests stranded and furious. Ary, Alpine Marina’s kind and softspoken dockmaster, literally laid out the red carpet for us at the last minute. I cannot recommend Alpine Marina and their gracious staff enough. Breathtakingly gorgeous spot under the Palisades Cliff, great snack shop, and amazing last minute hospitality!

I write this review being an avid boater and stop at this marina 4 or 5 times a year along with the group I travel with. I took my ski for a day trip and stopped here on way back with one bar of gas. The place was locked up during business hours. I called the number and whoever answered the phone and refused to sell me gas because I have ski. I read others posts on here about poor service. This is absolutely ridiculous that any marina would refuse service and have a boater possibly stranded in the river. This is not a safe practice and they should be ashamed of themselves. I can say I will never get gas at this place again nor will my friends that are avid boaters. Based on the marina response I have to laugh as the website claims they are the premier jet ski fill up on the Hudson. This place is a joke

Alpine Yacht Basin $4/ft Fuel and pump out available. Floating docks We were docked outside the seawall. It was really bumpy because of the Hudson. Even inside the seawall it was a little turbulent.The floating docks were not stable and they had posts to avoid boats going to the pubic park from docking there. The problem was, I couldn't tie up because the sign was under the cleat!! This marina is adjacent to a public park. There are restrooms for the public park, which are basic, but the one for the marina is better and consists of 1 bathroom and 1 shower on opposite sides of the office. This marina is too exposed - it is beautiful, under the NJ palisades, but for those affected by sea sickness it probably won't be a pleasant experience.

The view was fantastic! I climed the British switchback to the top of the Palisades cliff behind the marina, beathtaking.

Lovely park area. But there was no one to catch lines or get info from. For the price you kind of want a little more assistance. But nice stay even in the rain.

Not a bad price. Wasn’t anything to do in the area though. Some nice folks at the docks. I’d rate it a 2.5 star

Needs improvement in toilet/shower/laundry facilities.

My 2nd year at Alpine after it was renovated. Clean, friendly, floating docks, good fuel prices, etc. Best spot on the Hudson for sure.

Price couldn't be better, though watch out near the fuel dock at low tide, less than 2 feet of water. Dock master went out of his way to give me a ride to town. Even on the Hudson it was a pretty smooth night, didn't roll too much.
