Beautiful Marina, helpful and accommodating staff ,
Broke our prop shaft on the way to Ensenada and had the layover for a month wedding to be hauled out and repaired. Andy found us a spot, assisted when we arrived under one engine and was a fabulous host during our entire stay in Chula Vista. The marina was spotless, well-managed and maintained. Super friendly and helpful live aboard residence nearby. I would highly recommend Andy, his staff and this marina.
My wife and I stayed with CYM (Chula Vista) for the thanks giving week. The Marina is very adequate and the staff is great. The best thing about staying here was the Dock Master/Manager Andy. Andy is simply the best...seriously He went the extra mile for us without any hesitation. Thank you Gary & Dina R.
Great marina with an organized and welcoming staff, they made our stay easy from beginning to end. The communication upfront was superb, we knew exactly how to get to the slip which made things easier. The docks are well maintained and clean, the facilities are clean and well maintained, a little older but that was no problem. The entire marina has great security, with card keys, the local residents all look out for each other too. The train is a short walk, there is a West Marine nearby and a restaurant in the marina too. Everything we needed was easily available and we appreciated the quiet, park-like location.
This is an excellent marina with a great staff. There is a restaurant within walking distance. Although it's a bit of a walk, you can take the trolley into downtown San Diego, or to Tijuana. They arranged for our three boats traveling together to tie up to their long dock. The Dockmaster, Andy, came down on his day off to help us turn our full-keel boat around on the dock. The facilities are not new but very clean. They have cheap ice. You have to pick your way down the channel to get there, but it's worth the trip. This was our second trip, and it was just as good as the first.
Easy booking experience. Slip was ready for us with key as soon as we arrived. Easy to adjust our reservation to add days. Restrooms were clean and showers were hot with really great water pressure. Very friendly patrons. Overall an excellent experience!
clean facilities, very helpful staff
Had a really good time at California yacht club moved over from Chula Vista marina as they don’t value their customers at all and will definitely stay at California yacht club again people are nice and very helpful
Wasn't sure what to expect, but it was very quite pleasurable clean and everyone was very nice and helpful, being my 1st time docking in a Marina. I had a very good time.
We came in for some dock time prior to getting our boat hauled out for service. The people were wonderful, both tenants and management. Everyone was friendly and helpful, particularly Tori in the office, who’s knowledge and service made a potentially stressful event quite stress free. The facilities were very clean and deep cleaned twice daily during our stay.
