Safe Harbor Cowesett

The dock staff were great and the restaurant was amazing. The bathrooms were clean. We had a wonderful restful night here and it was our first time. In the morning we made a short walk to The Corner House for breakfast which was highly recommended by the dock manager Jake. It was perfect. We will definitely be back at least once a year.

Our stay was great. As always, the staff at Cowesett is amazing. The facilities are well kept and there is a real relaxed vibe around the marina. A special thanks to Jake for an awesome slip. See you next season

First stay at Cowessett was a pleasure. Dock crew were attentive and engaged. Enjoyed the pool and Chelos restaurant on site as well as downtown East Greenwich. Will make this a regular stop each year.

This a beautiful immaculate marina, with a fantastic Staff! It is a positively gorgeous, location. The seasonal members are so friendly to transients. We had a wonderful experience at the adjacent restaurant. We will definitely return next year! Safe Harbor Cowesett is a pristine hidden gem!

Our 5th season here. It is a great location with full service and amenities. Capital improvements have caused some temporary inconveniences, but are almost complete now.

Great stay! Friendly and helpful staff. Chelo’s restaurant was right in the marina parking lot with live music playing and several outside bars overlooking the bay. For anyone staying overnight they have great facilities and a pool for the little ones. It was a great stopover for a family out for the day or a quick overnight!

Jake and his crew were awesome. We were greeted by the friendly staff when we arrived. They did everything they could to accommodate our needs. Thanks! We will be back!!

Great clean fuel at good prices. They have very few in house mechanics and sub most work. Might as well find your own contractors .

The crew was very helpful and friendly the pool showers and bathrooms where all clean. They have washer and dryer’s you need quarters to use them but no way to change paper money. I asked how I could they said try the restaurant next store. Other tan that it was a great experience.

The doc crew was very nice And Jake the dockmaster went out of his way to make sure that we got electric by way of the 50 amp splitter that we did not carry on board. Reservations were quick and easy.We were traveling with another family and asked to be close to them.They told me they would try but no.guarantees due to a full Marina for the holiday.They did fill our request we were on the side of our friends.

Very nice place. Could not contact them on VHF until we were well within the basin heading for the fuel dock to see if anyone was there! Very very tight space for turning a 40 foot sailboat! Used lots of prop walk to maneuver into our slip and out when departing. Fuel dock was tight too. Otherwise very nice place with pool and bbq area. Had a great cookout with our friends. Nice clean showers. Long walk to any shopping but Uber is available. Staff ounce they appeared were very friendly helpful docking.

Friendly & helpful staff. We were on the outside dock which was bouncy in SE winds. Marina is pretty average in terms of facilities - good bathroom/showers and pool, no clubhouse. The restaurant on-site is popular and it’s an easy walk to another called The Shanty, which is very good. My biggest issue was lousy internet service. Would recommend looking at marinas in Greenwich Cove as it’s more protected and walkable to East Greenwich village which has lots of restaurants, etc.

The BEST marina in the region... friendly staff and very helpful and attentive! Lily in the office did everything possible in order to extend our stay ! Would definitely go back there next season

Great marina with excellent service!

Easy in and out. Helpful staff. Super showers, rest rooms, and pool. Can be a bit rolling in SE wind. Also can have lots of airplane noise as it is in line with Providence airport, especially when planes are taking off heading south. Nice restaurant.

Another superb Safe Harbor property. The depth on Docwa is 7 feet (which is wrong) and wouldn’t let me make a reservation online as we draw 7.5. Lilly took the reservation on the phone and straightened the problem out after I arrived. Smooth, professional service. Boatyard is clean, docks well maintained and the location is protected on three sides. We didn’t eat in the on-site restaurant but the beers were good. Easy approach.

This marina never disappoints. They folks in the front office are nice and so are the folks with slips. We always try and make an overnight voyage at least once a summer and they’re always so accommodating! Thanks SH Cowesset!

Great Marina; Great staff. Very calm waters. Great location. Bring your dinghy for exploring restaurants and beaches nearby. The fellow boaters at this marina were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful to transient boaters. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Met at the entrance by marina staff, guided to our slip and helped with the dock lines. Reservations at Chelo's were a must.

We stayed in the north marina inside the break water dock. It was easy in and out. There were no 30 amp outlets anywhere close to our slip. Our neighbors started playing music at 6am on Sunday. Overall there were a lot of boats playing loud music on the dock. It seems like a party atmosphere on the weekend. The heads were very nice and clean but about a quarter mile walk up the dock. The washing machine and dryer were new and cost $2 each. The onsite restaurant is crowded on weekends but pretty good.

Scheisters in the office but otherwise staff is friendly. I signed up for a mooring in December 2021 with $500. My boat was damaged in winter storm on cape. I informed them in January that I wouldn't be using the mooring but they refused even a partial refund of the deposit even when they found a replacement. This kind of a business must fail. Boater are forgiving,helpful people, not crooks!

Loud music until 1am! Quiet hours should be enforced. Other than that, location is great and everything is kept clean; easy to dock.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. They met us in the harbor in a skiff and guided us to our slip. The facilities were clean and marina was secure. We couldn't get a reservation at Chelo's, but went in anyway and asked for a table. We only had to wait 15 minutes.

Awesome stay at SH cowesett! Very professional and courtesy staff. Dinner at the Shanty is a must. Or you’ve got Chelo’s and live bands right at the marina!

Very nice Marina. Clean all around. Floating concrete docks make for a great tie up. Celo's restaurant was a fun place. Live music Thursday through Sunday.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very god helping us into eh slip. I loved the clean bathrooms and the terrific restaurant on site...and the band was very good. They have the easiest gas dock anywhere.

great marina lots to do

The Marina was kept neat and organized. Attentive friendly staff as well as dock neighbors. I was a transient amongst seasonal boaters and they quite friendly. My only question is why you don’t have recycling bins? I look forward to more stays here!!! Thank you Joe and Crew!

The staff was great, the pool was well maintained, add the fact that Rhode Island is the Ocean State and you have a perfect combination.

Tied up there for a few hours to go to the restaurant. Very friendly dock staff found us a slip and helped tie us up. Great service! I will be back and maybe stay overnight.

The Marina was very good. We had a 4 boat group. 3 boats were close, one boat was 2 docks away even though there were 2 slips available on the dock. I thought that would have had a welcome packet of sorts given to the boats as sakonket and onset have done in the past. Every thing was clean and orderly. Nobody checked on the group as with other Safe Harbors. But had great weather great friends and a nice time

The only draw back was for some reason the marina allows people on B dock to bring their vicious pit bull and chow dogs....these dogs will eventually bite someone. The dogs are unfriendly and growl and snap when approached....it is only a matter of time

All was good, I could see myself getting a full time slip at this marina, the only thing lacking was the internet info given was not correct to log in and I got no repsonse from the dockmaster, otherwise a great stay and we will go again. Alan

This was my second visit to Brewers Coweeset. Both times I had excellent service by the staff. They assist with tie up and the electrical and water connections are very reliable. George leads the dock crew in a professional manner and he even offered to tow me into the slip when I had a loose water pump belt as I approached the marina. The pools and rest room facilities are clean and everyone was friendly. Great getaway. Thank you.

Modern, secure, well maintained... Concrete floating docks, good tie system, good water depth, fresh water spigots at each dock space. Clean bathrooms, nice bar and restaurant.

Very friendly staff and great facilities. We hailed the dockmaster on channel 9 and George came out in the launch and led us into our dock (this is a very large marina-- over 700 slips.) Then he and another staff helped us tie up and plug in. When we checked in at the office they gave us a welcome package with all necessary info (gate codes, wifi password, etc.) They have two pools, one at each end ("North" and "South") of the marina. There is a restaurant on site-- Chelo's-- which gets very lively (i.e. loud) at night. There is also a good pub (The Shanty) about 1/4 mile up the road (and I mean up up up a steep hill.) The town of East Greenwich has a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants-- very cute and retro!-- but is not really walking distance from the marina (about 2 miles.) You can also take your dingy to the waterfront restaurants. Very lively, friendly marina!

Overall the marina is fantastic. We would return again. very accommodating over the phone and helpful over the radio on the approach. Once the slip assignment is made over the radio you are on your own. No staff awaiting your arrival at the dock to help or inform you of the amenities or anything else. Went to find trash location and young girl sitting in a booth (not sure where office was) and she told us OH, you came in, here is your welcome bag with some books. If you don't need anyone or anything, this is the place. If you are looking for a professional "Brewer's" service, this is not the place. Again, we loved it there and would return just no staff on the docks.
