Hope Springs Marina is a full-service marina located on a protected section of beautiful Aquia Creek, offering a 300 rack indoor fully enclosed boathouse, 180 deep water slips, 4 paved launch ramps and 700 feet of sandy beach, all just minutes from the Potomac River. Only four miles from Interstate 95 (Exit 140), Hope Springs boasts over six acres of parking, a picnic area with a fire-pit and a spectacular clubhouse for our guests. Boaters will appreciate the variety of amenities available, including an on-site convenience store, a fully tiled and air conditioned bathhouse with showers, and a laundry room as well as a nicely equipped fitness center. 30 amp metered electrical hookups, and a modern pump-out and dump station are found on the docks. Please note there is a fixed railroad bridge (26' clearance) right next to the marina, therefore the marina cannot accept sailboats with an air draft of >25'.

Once I got to the marina it was fine but I came in in the channel in some areas three and a half feet of water which was not so fun
The chart shows shallow water up to the railway bridge at the marina. We were able to carry 6' to 9' to the marina. Noce club house, but no pool or restaurant. A good stop for trawlers going up or down the Potomac, although a mast may limit you at the railway bridge besides the marina. We only saw 30A service on the docks, so a boat that needs full 50A to run AC may have a challen getting by with 2 30A cords
Really welcoming staff and other boaters. Very nice, clean restrooms and grounds are beautiful.

With out a doubt a top shelf marina for staff, service and beautiful facilities. Jimmy Franklin owner/manager and all of his crew are most attentive and courteous. Bathhouse / ship's store and club room are the best on the Potomac.
