This marina has it all!--sexual and elder harassment; marina managers, Robert and Brenda, who are a bully and a convicted criminal (who stole 50K from a local nonprofit--look it up); and an incompetent board that sits on their thumbs while their resident mafia chain smokes on the marina landing. My elderly, disabled father was evicted the SECOND the moratorium was lifted with 7 days to vacate the premises because of his dog getting loose last fall. I have also witnessed bullying and unfair treatment of many other residents there. Don't bother contacting their useless board members. This is a place that lacks compassion and humanity, and you'd do best to take your business elsewhere. Read the reviews on other websites. Sadly, the 1 start reviews are true.
Nicely located in downtown Winslow on Bainbridge Island, this marina is a fantastic destination for one-day or overnight trips from elsewhere in the South Puget Sound, or for long-term moorage. The main gangway puts you right on the boardwalk in the middle of town, with many shopping and dining choices. It's a short bike ride or walk to the Seattle Ferry, which makes the marina more convenient for a Seattle visit than even Seattle's marinas. Adjacent to the marina is a nicely equipped chandlery, a coffee house that also has a full bar, a theater, restaurants, book stores, banks, and any other amenity you might want. There is ample access to public transportation as well. The docks are concrete, and are aging, but well-maintained. The docks will be replaced in the next year or so.
