Within the marina we offer a full service fuel dock with diesel and non-ethanol gas, pump out, ships store with ice and bait and our waterfront restaurant, "The Black Duck." Friendly people and a Gem of the South in this very rural relaxed marina. Great shelter. No problem with my 8’ draft.
Small marina, fixed piers, local restaurant unfortunately closed the night we were there, as many places are on a Monday night.
Great new management. Swimming pool. Live music every weekend. Good mechanics. Friendly people. Best natural sailing area on the bay with beautiful anchorages.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Clean bath house, nice restaurant on site and nice pool with a poolside snack shack. Live music every Friday and Saturday night but not to loud when relaxing on you boat and Saturday nights entertainment is raising money for local charities. They also offer repairs and haul-out service for most any sailing vessel.
Under new management for 2 years, the marina was a wonderful place to stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Shack provided quick and tasty food. The water was from a deep artisan well. We brought some home it was so good. The owner was hands on and very proud of his improvements.
Love this place. Todd and his staff are ready to help. Life music last night, pool, snack bar by the pool. Amazing boatyard. Thank you guys.
Great, quiet marina. Very accommodating. We came in the off season and the restaurant was closed. Many finger piers are short and our dinghy davits were in the way. They moved us to a better slip.
Favorite marina on the Chesapeake. Great people, excellent facilities and yard.
The location is very pretty & peaceful. Everyone on the team is genuinely lovely & can't do enough to help with anything you could need. The facilities are brilliant for the price you pay, with a Ships store onsite & the option for the yard to order items in for you. We hauled out & the process was smooth and efficient, with very little fuss. A hidden gem.
It was easy to reserve a slip on-line, and the dock staff was very efficient and helpful in docking the boat. The marina owner, Todd, is on-site and is very driven to give back to the community. Yankee Point Marina had a fund-raising event to raise money for a local cause the night we were there. Very fun!
Nice Marina staff very helpful. Has a pool and clean bathrooms The bathrooms could use some updating but clean. They had a band for a fundraiser which was great, overall nice stay.
Wonderful restaurant and quiet marina. Worth the trip in to explore.
Absolutely fabulous! Beautiful surroundings, safe harbor in a storm, on site restaurant and bar, clean bathrooms, wonderful laundry facilities, nice docks. Everything good, but the star of the show is the helpful and knowledgeable staff. The best marina on the Chesapeake Bay!
This marina has recently changed hands. My father has a boat there. The prices are going way up and they aren't posting monthly [length] rates online. Nothing in writing. They seem eager to have my father leave.
Aside from the virtues of the marina itself, Yankee Point's boatyard has really outstanding skills. They have done extensive work on our boat, and it has all been very high quality and at a reasonable cost.
Cozy hideaway marina nestled in the pines. Docks were very well maintained. Staff extremely helpful. Cute, clean pool adjacent to cafe/snack bar. Everything very clean. Town is far away. No shuttle but staff very helpful in offering rides to fetch groceries, etc. Ducks, geese, ospreys, eagles, a blue heron, and of course gulls inhabit the creek. Watch out for the missing placard on the green ATN on the approach to the marina. It is now just an osprey nest.
This marina is the perfect place for peace and quiet. The docks are fairly new, the family that ownes the facility really cares about customer service and makes one feel right at home. I'd go back there anytime I go through the area.
