Within the marina we offer a full service fuel dock with diesel and non-ethanol gas, pump out, ships store with ice and bait and our waterfront restaurant, "The Captains Lounge." Our slips can accomodate vessel up to 65'. We have added additional catamaran slips this season and we have a 112' long face dock for larger yachts.
Walking up from the marina is our air conditioned bath house and beyond that is our Salt Water Swimming Pool and snack bar, "The Shack." Surrounding the pool is a picturesque seating area under beautiful oak trees providing wonderful shade.
Our boat yard is equipped with a 40 ton travel lift, hydraulic trailer, 65' paint barn and dry storage areas for short or long terms stays (all dry storage spaces are 20’ above MLW). In addition to our facilities we have full time mechanics, electricians, ship wrights, fiberglass, paint and varnish all on staff.
Come visit our website for with any additional questions or call us on 804-462-7635. Thank you for visiting Yankee Point Marina.
This marina has recently changed hands. My father has a boat there. The prices are going way up and they aren't posting monthly [length] rates online. Nothing in writing. They seem eager to have my father leave.
Aside from the virtues of the marina itself, Yankee Point's boatyard has really outstanding skills. They have done extensive work on our boat, and it has all been very high quality and at a reasonable cost.
Cozy hideaway marina nestled in the pines. Docks were very well maintained. Staff extremely helpful. Cute, clean pool adjacent to cafe/snack bar. Everything very clean. Town is far away. No shuttle but staff very helpful in offering rides to fetch groceries, etc. Ducks, geese, ospreys, eagles, a blue heron, and of course gulls inhabit the creek. Watch out for the missing placard on the green ATN on the approach to the marina. It is now just an osprey nest.
This marina is the perfect place for peace and quiet. The docks are fairly new, the family that ownes the facility really cares about customer service and makes one feel right at home. I'd go back there anytime I go through the area.
