New York Harbor |
Hudson Point Marina nestled in the Morris Canal Basin offering unmatched protection and tranquility. Our family run, 45 slip, marina provides year-round docking and transient services to mariners in the New York City Harbor. We offer competitive rates and a safe and friendly environment. Many years in the business give us an understanding of your boating needs and expectations. The marina has plenty of room to maneuver into the slips.
AMAZING!!! Rene' was awesome. Was there to help us dock and get settled. Then showed us all around the area for transportation options and restaurants, markets, etc. Was available via text the whole time. Clean and great security. Thank you Darien and Rene. Highly recommend this place.
Best kept secret in NJ /NY harbor. Marina is best value in area and has great access to NYC by ferry (50 yards away) and subway (PATH) Rene is amazing and will help you with any questions. Getting into marina was a breeze and very quiet nights! Very happy we went here and not across the inlet!!
Very helpful dockmaster. Gave us some needed equipment. Great access to ferries/PATH to get over to NYC quickly. Also some great restaurants in the surrounding area. Easy to pull in/out. Floating docks are clean.
Very pleasant & quiet stay for two nights. Rene was super helpful as the dock manger.
Great spot in Jersey City. Close to tons of restaurants and easy access to NYC by ferry or train. Also easy to get to Newark airport. This marina has new floating docks, good electric and locked gate. It is in a nice neighborhood, great for walking.
This is a nice and quiet marina but it is very small and the spots are very tight. I wouldn’t recommend trying to stay here with a larger vessel. Very tight squeeze and not worth the stress of trying to dock.
Hudson Point is a great location. Restaurants are within walking distance . The ferry to Manhattan is a short walk. You can also take this ferry across the canal to Liberty state park. Also next door to the marina is Manhattan Island Sailing club. You can take their launch out the barge anchored in NY harbor and watch the weekly sailboat races. Hudson Point does not offer much in the way of amenities but prices are more reasonable than the competition across the canal.
This a very sheltered marina with still water and with tall buildings to the north and East of it, there is also shelter from winds from those directions The marina is very quiet and peaceful at night and although in a city, does not have the feeling of being in a big city, except for the buildings in the area. Rene who manages the docks and marina is really friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my two night stay and will come back again. It is a bit pricey and because of the coronavirus pandemic, the restrooms and showers were closed and there is no WiFi here. But the docks and well maintained and the electric service and water hoses are good. A very nice marina ! Highly recommended. Capt Ed
