Until June 30th, tie up along the floating docks in Wharf Cove for free! The area between Market Docks and the Transit Pier is open for daytime stays between 8am and midnight daily. If your stay is longer, book accommodations at the Wharf Market Docks here on this page.
There was a lot of goose dung on the dock but the crew cleaned it before we got off the boat. Would have been nice if the staff offered to help with our few bags. Also would really be nice if they offered a golf cart to take overnight guests to their hotels. The Canopy was all the way on the other end.
Great location and great service, but I was disappointed with the limited availability of electric service for older boats like mine that require two 30 amp shore power connections. Fortunately, the marina staff had a fifty amp splitter that I could borrow. I have since purchased my own splitter.
Friendly staff. Bathrooms could be bigger but overall great location.
Brand new docks - floating and very nice. The bathrooms are "so-so". Great location near the center of DC. Very protected place to berth.
Could not get our boat to power up with the new GFI protected pedestals, so the GREAT dockmaster Gregg moved us to Gangplank where all worked fine. Awesome location: they are completely revitalizing the Wharf area with shops, restaurants, and it is really really amazing. Safeway two blocks away, a few blocks to tour museums/attractions - great location and so far our favorite stop!! Will come again.
Greg Smith and his crew are true professionals! We love the facility!
