River Street Landing offers private dockage located directly on River Street in Savannah, Georgia. This dock is able to accept Mega Yachts along with transient boaters looking to enjoy a stay on River Street. This dock does require at least a two night minimum for dockage or a minimum charge of $250.00
Location is directly on the waterfront with shops and restaurants minutes away. Dock hands were very helpful and informative. This is not a marina, rather a floating dock in the river. That being said, there is quite a bit of boat traffic with many tankers and tugs running by at all hours. The tugs have no regard for the fact that you are tied to the dock. They run full throttle when not assisting with a cargo ship, sending a surfable three foot wake into the side of your vessel. Not many options in the area so it you take what you can. Again, dockhands were very helpful and pleasant.
Great location. Docks need some maintenance. Dont like the two night minimum policy, especially when not busy season. Dock hand was great.
Great service two dockhands were ready for us when we arrived and made docking in a swift current very easy
To many drug addicted shady characters walking by the dock at night. Other than that the power is good and good water pressure. Lauren was very helpful.
Ridiculouly priced for docks in poor condition. Charged for electricity but 1 tower was taped off and the other one was not secured properly so we did not use. Bar street is rowdy with no security. Curious, drunk, rowdy people walked up to the boat. This should just be a free municipal dock.
Great location. Right on River Street, easy walk to all the historic stuff. DON'T MISS the J.W. Marriott in the old power plant just up the river. Wow. However, be prepared for constant wakes from passing boats tossing you about. No one pays attention to any "no wake" rules, and travel past within a few feet of the boats at the docks on plane, or worse, sort-of on plane. Staff is very helpful, terrific people. Nice floating docks, which helps with the strong tidal currents, and big tidal range. It's worth a stop for sure, just bring fenders and embrace motion.
