"J B." we rented from Gilbert Marine. The service was excellent. We asked them about your review here, we found out that you broke their brand new WaveRunner and then had your friend (Doug Hyde) at Hucks Marina up river file a fraudulent claim for the damage. They're not even a Yamaha Dealer but have access to the Yamaha Warranty system as a reseller of Yamaha motors. If that's what it takes to be your friend not thanks! You're dishonest. We asked about your "others" in your review below; The VanderBarrens (your personal friends) rented from Gilberts too. They let the brand new WaveRunners smash into the steel docks in RockPort. VanderBarren admitted in arbitration that he damaged the WaveRunners and the claim was settled when he paid for the damages. J Bugardini, we're your neighbors on Fernbank. Shame on you, your comments here are fud.
Disgusting place never seen a place is such bad shape no knowledge or professionals it is the worst Marina I have seen in Canada
RENTERS BEWARE We rented a seadoo and Nelson Gilbert illegally kept our $1000 damage deposit. He has done this to several renters and we have been in touch with another customer who is taking them to court. We are considering similar action.
