Perfect location to see Milwaukee. Pool, hot tub and great food
Very old fixed docks (50 year old) are regularly submerged! The public marina has gorgeous floating docks by contrast, has clean bathrooms, and security on the docks. As a former member of many years, I can say life without paying membership dues to MYC (exceeding that of chicago yacht clubs) feels great. I dine at restaurants with great service and food. I use marinas with floating docks. I’m not settling anymore. Pretty location but wish it was called the Wisconsin Club YC or University Club YC with would bring a much higher standards and a culture of progress, of maintenance, of rules, and of fiscal stewardship.
Milwaukee Yacht CLub is a private club that offers Great Lakes Yacht Club reciprcity. The club has a wonderful atmosphere with a tiki bar, swimming pool and hot tub. The grill is open 7 days a week during summer and the restaurant is open Wed, Thur and Fri. The dock staff is wonderful and very helpful. A must stay when in Milwaukee
