At the centrally located Burlington Community Boathouse Marina, transient boaters will find dockage, services, and a fantastic dockside restaurant, Splash. Whether you are looking for hourly dockage, moorings, or overnight dockage, the Boathouse Marina offers ample space without compromising location! Boaters will find easy and close access to local shops, grocery stores, hardware stores, excellent restaurants, and more all within walking distance of the marina.
The staff was/is great. However the power towers needed to be cleaned, infested with all kinds of insects. More presence on the docks during the day. Splash appears to be overtaking seating on front dock
Toujours agréable à ce mouillage. Personnels très avenants
courteous and efficient employees Thanks
While the location of Perkins Pier is awesome, the slips are difficult to get in to especially if you are far in toward the pier. The day we signed up and brought the boat in, there were staff to help us, and they were very attentive. Someone directed us to the slip #43 at the dock, only that was not the correct #43! We thought that it was a great space with electric and water, the restrooms were clean and limited access to slip holders, the bar Splash, was right there. Bummer to find out we were actully in the low rent over at Perkins pier with scary homeless people hovering around the restrooms, no shower, and no electricity, etc. Such a disappointment. The docks are pretty close together making the entry and exit somewhat difficult. We did not renew for a second month but are choosing to launch from our trailer instead.
Burlinton community Boat house is a gem staff is super friendly and helpful
I made a reservation for a mooring and got a very detailed confirmation email (including our mooring number and a great map) within 1 hour. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we could not find our mooring since there are no (or confusing) numbers written on it. The marina staff told us that the moorings are assigned on first-come-first-served basis and that reservations should be done after a mooring has been taken, which contradicts the purpose of a reservation. Staff was nice and polite
A very nice stay as always at the Community boat house. Staff is friendly and helpful as always. Only little thing if I compare with the past is the way they keep the boaters bathrooms clean. There was a lack this year to be honnest and the routine does not seems to include a daily clean up and check up by a manager anymore. Besides that it was all good. Will be back for sure.
We had a great stay at Burlington Community Boathouse. We were greeted at the dock with smiling faces. They helped us in, and got us situated on our dock quickly. Everyone was a pleasure to daal with. Gave us great dinner and entertainment recommendations too. We will definitely be going back there on our next Champlain trip.
Perfect ! Courteous and kind staff. Pleasant atmosphere. I always come back !
Gréât location and very friendly staff. The management is very accommodating and helpful . BRAVO!
Best location in Burlington. Friendly staff. No fuel, but it's available next door.
Great location, convenient. The only minor inconvenience is that maximum boat length per row of mooring along breakwater is not available as we enter mooring field. I wish you would post the information on floating signs at both north and south ends of field. Keeping the easternmost row dedicated to larger boats.
Slip was perfect, staff was friendly and helpful, wonderful experience
For the location it is good. It's a bit noisy but being down town Burlington VT I should expect that. The docks are very good and secure. My girlfriend feels relatively safe there. The bathrooms could be a little cleaner and it bugs me that I have to get quarters to take a shower.
Staff is very nice and has always been available and knowledgeable.
Staff and Marina were very nice. Right downtown Burlington, VT. Beautiful area and landscape. Just a note that people should know the showers are coin operated.
Very nice marina and friendly staff. The on-site restaurant, which is not owned by the marina, is a bit overpriced but decent. It's an easy walk to hardware and groceries and many restaurants. Overall, this was a very good marina.
Burlington is one of our favourite stops. This is a wonderful City with lots of shopping and good restaurants. The Boat House is the place of choice to stay, either on a dock (make a reservation) or on a mooring ($10/day).The facilities are OK, not great.Gets very crowded. The location is very central to shops and restaurants. The City operates the marina.
Great dockhands, very friendly staff, outstanding setting, great convenience, but no country club. Gets very crowed during the season. Definitely worth a visit, but a slip reservation is recommended, especially during the 4th of July.
