Located in beautiful Hingham Harbor, Bare Cove Marina offers easy access to great fishing, sailing, and cruising. Just steps away from historic Hingham Center, location of South Shore's best restaurants and wonderful shopping. Our 40 boat slips provide plenty of dock space in Hingham Harbor for vessels up to 35 feet. Slips are complete with fresh water, and electricity...and the rates are affordable. For your convenience, we now have an online reservation form.
Bare Cove Marina is a full service facility offering boat slips and mooring services. We offer a 12 hour launch service with access to over 100 moorings in Hingham's Inner Harbor. Our mooring service operates two mooring barges and two workboats to ensure the best and most timely mooring services available.

Marina has excellent facilities and is convenient to downtown Hingham, including its many restaurants.
We love getting a mooring at Bare Cove. The scenery is beautiful and having the tender bring us from the mooring to dock is super easy. Chuck the tender driver is such a lovely guy and always has a smile on his face.
Always top service from Bare Cove. Launch is always readily available and plenty of skiffs too. I appreciate the communications on status, plan updates etc….. if only the weather would cooperate! Thank you very much

Bare Cove has a rare gem LaunchMaster, Chuck. He has both strong boating knowledge, true finesse in handling the launch, and a very friendly and welcoming personality. The young folks who manage the launch could be more skilled at pulling up to moored boats. Sometimes it was pretty rough and worrisome for my boat. I would prefer if we could adopt a no tipping policy. If more pay is needed, raise our rates. The reason I say this is that having cash on hand has become increasingly difficult as we shift to a cashless society. I often felt bad that I had no cash on hand because I rarely carry cash. Again, I want the team fairly paid, I just don’t want the team to think I don’t value their service. Thanks.
We have mooring in the mooring field for many years. We have always had great experience. Launch drivers are great and have always looked out for the whole field for any issues. Fresh water at dock always accessible. Dingy always available when needed.
I’ve been at this marina for 23 years. Great location steps from Hingham Center. Great restaurants, grocery, shops. Very courteous launch drivers. Don’t forget to tip! Well serviced moorings. Very sheltered location. Watch your NavAids on the way in.
