Our favorite of all marinas on the lower Potomac! We love this place, particularly during the mid-week when we can enjoy the beach with our pups! Under new ownership Coles Point Marina has also re-opened the restaurant and OMG it is superb! From Tuna Sushi nachos to the fresh Mahi (fried, broiled, blackened), to the Hush Puppies to the home made chips (eat at the bar and enjoy the view!) Fuel, pump out station, plenty of slips that are easy to get in and out of, the beach, swimming pool, store, bathhouse - and often times music on the weekends, and a super professional dockmaster and staff make Coles Point the perfect place to pull in and spend a few days. Restaurant open Thursday-Sunday so if you go Monday-Wed bring your own beverages and munchies! R/ Ken and Debbie Campbell
Coles Point went through a management change in 2016 - 2017. The facility has a boat lift and folks in the marina side that have been in the business for many years. There is a beach, campground, and restaurant. They play some pretty loud music on the week end which can be disturbing. Otherwise it is pretty laid back. Good access to the Potomac and Chesapeake bay. Recently had the channel dredged but is still less than 5 feet at low tide.
