Great place to stay for a couple of days. Easy walk to local restaurants and shops. Beautiful new bathrooms and shower. Downside is the docks could use rebuild. Don't walk on them without shoes unless you like splinters. Great views of the harbor from your boat. Nice pool.
Very professional dock crew. Docks are in great shape and the members are very friendly and helpful. Beautiful pool and Tiki Bar. Nothing is better than ordering food while sitting around the pool. If you decide to go out to dine (we did) there is a free Launch service that takes you to the municipal docks. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Excellent marina and Inn with a very helpful and knowledgeable crew. You can take one of the Inn's free shuttle buses to other restaurants in the area (Essex House is the best). Food at the Inn is also top notch. Beautiful location.
Popped over for a one night stay as we had dinner reservations at the restaurant. Marina staff is very professional and helpful. The marina is wonderfully located with excellent views of Manhattan. Great marina with a very helpful and friendly staff. The marina has very well maintained floating docks and the staff was waiting for us to help us tie up and answer any questions. The Liberty House restaurant was very good and included a fantastic view of lower Manhattan. Everyone, from the waitstaff to the owner, were very accommodating and made you feel at home. Recommend you dine here during your stay.
Great marina and staff. Very helpful in getting your boat into tight slips. The new bathroom and shower renovations are awesome. Quick walk into town for shopping and food. Only ate at their restaurant for lunch, which was good. Definitely worth the stay.
Returned to Milford Landing for a stay over the Memorial Day weekend. As usual, our stay was most enjoyable. The staff did an excellent job helping us with our tie up and made our arrival smooth. The new bathroom and shower renovations are amazing. Highly recommend a stay here to enjoy the restaurants and small town New England feel.
Had a great time at our first stay at Sailor's Haven. Traveled there with friend's and we were able to get adjoining slips. If you don't know the local waters, it can be a little tricky getting there from the inlet, but well worth it. The snack bar put out some great food, including a delicious Saturday night Captain's dinner. Thank you Janie and crew for feeding us. Arrived to late to meet the legendary Steve, who retired, but Scott, who took over, was very helpful and friendly, as was his staff. Fixed docks can make it tricky sometimes getting on or off your boat if you are not use to them. Be aware that the bathroom facilities are a short walk up the boardwalk towards the beach and are open to the public. Open cold showers only! This marina is all about the location, which is amazing.
Spent just one night at the marina. Dock crew was very helpful in getting us tied up in our slip. The town is an easy walk from the marina. Unfortunately, there were a number of misses. The floating docks are old and need replacement. Don't walk on them with bare feet as I squired many a splinter before I realized this. Also, there are no services at the marina. If you want to use a restroom or a shower, you have to walk to the hotel where there is a small bathroom near the dining room for boat owners to use. Loud partying on a nearby boat didn't end until 1:30 am. Knowing what to expect , I will probably revisit just because of their ideal location and great crew.
